Helps with Rexie's wee wee odor
I hadn't realized Rexie was wee weeing in a corner of our synthetic living room rug!!! I discovered it after noticing a sour urine odor. The rug has a pattern and the urine doesn't show even when wet. I used many doggie urine/stain and odor removers and still the smell remained. I then resorted to using a diluted lavender version 1/2 water and 1/2 lysol lavender and it has helped immensely. The odor is barely discernible. After a couple of more applications, the odor should be almost completely gone, if not all gone. We have a darling morkie and he has the typical stubborn streak of a Yorkie and Maltese (he is their hybrid) and I can't seem to convince him to go where he is supposed to.

I am addicted to this product!!! not inly do I use it for general house cleaning, it is a great laundry additive for such items as pillows, bathroom rugs and heavily soiled childrens sports uniforms!!!!

Love Lavender, Hate Pacific Fresh
I have long used Lavender Breeze All-Purpose for almost all cleaning in my home, including my tile floors. I love it. I recently tried Pacific Fresh and thought it smelled like terrible cheap men's cologne. Absolutely hated it! I usually buy several bottles of Lysol Lavender at once while shopping and was so glad I only bought one bottle of Pacific Fresh, which I will never buy again.
I would like to try the Orange Breeze but have never seen it in stores. I live in Round Rock, Tx, a highly populated suburb of Austin, and you'd think it would be available here.

Love Lavender, Hate Pacific Fresh
I have long used Lavender Breeze All-Purpose for almost all cleaning in my home, including my tile floors. I love it. I recently tried Pacific Fresh and thought it smelled like terrible cheap men's cologne. Absolutely hated it! I usually buy several bottles of Lysol Lavender at once while shopping and was so glad I only bought one bottle of Pacific Fresh, which I will never buy again.
I would like to try the Orange Breeze but have never seen it in stores. I live in Round Rock, Tx, a highly populated suburb of Austin, and you'd think it would be available here.

Lysol Multi Surface Clean - Lavender Scent
I have some of those cloth fold up chairs and they ended up getting musty and mildew on them after being in the basement for a couple years. I knew I needed to kill the mold/mildew so I went on a search when I went to the store- I knew Bleach would ruin the fabric so I knew I had to find something without bleach in it. Then I started to read the Lysol products and thought it was worth a try! I purchased the bottle and poured the cleaner into a spray bottle. I saturated the chairs and left them out in the sun/air to dry reapplied it and again left them to dry. All the Mildew was gone and they looked good again. I liked the multi surface cleaner so I will be using it more around the house.

The new scent of Lavendar/Orchard is TERRIBLE!! It smells like it belongs in some big institution trying to clean and hide odors. The smell is overpowering, sickly sweet and medicinal at the same time. I had to open my windows for a long time to try to get rid of the sickening smell.
I've used Lavendar Lysol multipurpose for years. That smell was subtle and soft. Its replacement has a powerful, gag-inducing smell.
I bought 2 bottles of this and am returning to the store the one unopened bottle.
I'll have to find a replacement product for cleaning until Lysol finds a way to fix this.

Lysol All Purpose Cleaner Amazing
This all purpse cleaner is amazing. I run a small Janitorial Services and I have used all kind of cleaning products.

This all purpse cleaner is amazing. I run a small Janitorial Services and I have used all kind of cleaning products.

Non disinfecting Multipurpose cleaner
Very disappointed that the trusted Lysol disinfection is no longer in the multipurpose cleaner. I depend on this for cleaning bathroom and kitchen areas. I think it's a mistake on the part of Lysol to change what they are very well noted for in their products. If I want to cover odor instead of eliminating the cause (bacteria) I will use Mr. Clean with fabreze, it smells better. Thank God you still make the Old " Brown Bottle Disinfectant". You made a good product that people trusted to safe guard their home, why did you mess with something that worked?

The Power & Fresh Cleaner is not a disinfectant cleaner like the old Complete Cleaner. I called Lysol they say they still make the Complete Clean Disinfectant cleaner. I looked at both my bottles old & new and they both have the same UPC code so when your store goes to order it they get the new cleaner not the disinfectant cleaner. I am so mad there is no good disinfectant cleaners out there! A disinfectant cleaner is more important to me than a all purpose cleaner they are a dime a dozen. Please bring back the Complete Clean, lemon scented cleaner!

I love to keep my home germ free and have always used your products to do that....but not now! Power fresh??? If I wanted that I would buy the other purple stuff. BRING BACK the disinfecting power!!! I love to keep my home germ free and have always used your products to do that....but not now! Power fresh??? If I wanted that I would buy the other purple stuff. BRING BACK the disinfecting power!!! I don't care for the new smell....always liked the my clean smell of original lysol and nowhere does the it proudly display that it kills 99.9% of germs likien it used to...We are very disappointed with this move:(

I will never buy this again. I hope the company is listening to our complaints and will bring back the Lysol all purpose disinfecting cleaner, which was a wonderful product!

Now that you changed the Lavender scent to Lavender with Orchid, I can't stand the smell. It is too strong and I just don't like it. Why did you have to change it? I will now have to find another product with a scent that I like. I will not purchase the All Purpose Cleaner again unless you go back to the original Lavender scent that had such a clean, pleasant scent.
I used to recommend Lysol Lavender scent to everyone, but I won't any more. Please change it back.

I'm so dissapointed!! Lysol added extra fragrance but took out the disinfectant that it had for generations!! I don't by Lysol for the fragrance. I buy it because it always said that it kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. Now it's just like all the other multi purpose cleaners. There's no reason for me to choose this product now. Do you remember when Coke changed their formula to taste more like Pepsi? It was a complete disaster and ther brought their original formula back. Please Lysol, learn from Coke and bring us back the disinfectant that we all need I will not be buying this product. I'd give it zero stars if it were an option.

Please Lysol, learn from Coke and bring us back the disinfectant that we all need I will not be buying this product. I'd give it zero stars if it were an option.

Why mess with an amazing product?
I own a cleaning company and we were a loyal Lysol customer. In fact, it was part of our spiel. We could use your product which was a good working cleaner while disinfecting. It was something our customers would understand with just a name. It wasn't some weird commercialized cleaner that the customer was unfamiliar with. Our families used it growing up. It was a trusted brand name.
Now? It's been replaced with a general non-disinfecting cleaner. No different than Fabuloso or dozens of others cleaners (where Lysol is much more expensive.) No doubt, we've seen the super expensive disinfecting spray aerosol cans and "convenient" disinfecting wipes (whose packaging is horrible for the environment on both counts.)
Rather than deal with all that, we've become Mr. Clean customers. They still sell their concentrated Mr. Clean disinfecting all-purpose cleaner whose name is trusted. I wish we didn't have to make the change at all.

Hello,

Hello,

No longer a 4 in 1 cleaner
If its not broke y fix it? I literally thought i was going crazy the day i went to walmart and picked up the same lysol that i usually purchase, at least so i thought. When I got home i noticed that it is just a cleaner and no longer a 4 in 1 that all kills 99.9% of germs. I got in my car and went bk to walmart cause i thought i made a mistake. To my surprise they no longer carried it. (Not to worry i said I will check Target and Home Depot-but they also had non). Just this regular lysol cleaner that I some how have never seen b4 in my life. I PANICKED! And thats y I am here.

I clean houses for a living and for many many years I have used Lysol, orange scent to disinfect and kill germs. My orange scent went away, so i was using the orange colored one, different scent and was ok with it. NOW kills 99% of all household germs, is GONE! I am now searching for new disinfecting products. Disappointed in the "Improvements"
I used to love Lysol Cleaners. I loved the smell my house had when it was cleaned with Lysol. I loved the way my house looked. I loved the fact that I KNEW my house was clean. My children could crawl on the floor and I knew they would be fine. BUT NOW, Lysol has taken out the MAIN reason I purchased this product, the DISINFECTANT.
WHY!? I have stopped buying this product and I have been a faithful customer for over 35 years. Now I am looking for a product to replace your product. I want my house disinfected when I clean it.
Let me know when you have restored this great product to what it was.

Now kind of useless, don't you think?
Was stunned when I went to my local Target to pick up my usual supply of 6-8 bottles of Lysol "disinfectant" cleaner in the pour bottle. When I got home, I realized that the "kills 99.9%" germ banner was gone. I looked all over the bottle and couldn't find anything that listed this cleaner as a germicide. I returned it to the store and had to buy Clorox Clean-up. After visiting this site, I see that indeed the cleaner has been changed and no longer kills germs.
I have used Lysol pour liquid cleaner for years to clean and sanitize my 16-18 litter boxes, as well as my kitchen and bathroom floors and counters. It has been a great sense of satisfaction and relief to know that my animals and my home were both as safe as possible from bacteria that causes illness. I was also quite pleased that I could easily clean and disinfect without having to "suit up" in plastic rain gear to avoid bleach spots on my clothes.
Who cares if this product now has 2x the fragrance to "cover up" smells instead of killing the germs that cause the smells?
Won't be buying this stuff, it's useless for my home.

This product needs the disinfectant put back into it. I've used it for 20 years to clean my kitchen and bathroom. What is the point of buying it if it doesn't disinfect? If I want my home to smell nice I'll light a candle thank you. When I want my home clean, I want a disinfectant. I'll have to switch brands until they go back to the original ;(

I use it to clean surface germs- vital since my mom is 96 and lives with me. I'm absolutely shocked to find it does not kill germs. I'll be searching for another product. This was a huge mistake made by the company.

flower scents bad perfer lemon breeze
I have used the Lemon Breeze concentrated all purpose cleaner for cleaning all surfaces except those for food prep or storage. I counted on the disinfecting for litter pan cleaning, sewer backup, mold and mildew. The only cleaner I needed in my house. I used the lemon breeze at various strengths and in spray bottles for the bathroom tubs and sinks. I bought it in the gallon size for years. I do not like the Power Fresh scent it smells like Febreeze, very unpleasant and irritating for my breathing. I cannot use strong flower scents but would like to have a fresh sent when finished with my cleaning. I must find another product to use.

Go Back to 99% the germ killer
I have been using lysol mult-purpose cleaners (kills 99.9% "germs") for years and have been very happy with them. Now they aren't the same because they don't kill the germs like before. I want a healthy home, especially my kitchen and bathroom. I depended on the use of lysol to keep my surfaces clean and healthy #germ-free#, along with the benefits of my home smelling nice. Now when at ANYstore, I make sure to check the cleaning supply isle searching for the lysol with the 99% germ disfectant included. It's becoming harder and harder to find. If it's not brought back, i will be switching to another form of cleaner-even if it has to be back to bleach! I work with children and I am aware that the Health Department recommends a deluted bleach solution to kill surface germs, but it also discolors some surfaces when not correctly deluted. That's why I loved Lysol disinfectant cleaner, even when it got on my walls it didn't bleach out my paint. Please bring it back!!!
PS I can't use the Lysol Disinfectant Spray in my house because it triggers a family member's breathing issues!

It's nice to be able to clean a bathtub or sink with a pleasant smell and have it be disinfected in the end!! I'm 31 years old and regardless of living with my parents or now on my own, Lysol has always been the Multi-Purpose cleaner of choice!! I've found the Pine Sols ineffective. Mr. Clean is ok but Lysol was a stronger disinfectant killing more germs while still leaving a great clean!! While I've found the lemon scent to be inconsistent some being foul smelling and others good, I've liked many of the others, to include: Orange, Wild Berry and Summer Fresh from years ago. All great cleaners, pleasant smelling that were terrific on removing soap scum and also Disinfected surfaces!!!

The Summer Fresh scent that you had years ago and was available in the Lysol Multi Purpose pourable, Multi Purpose spray and Lysol Cling toilet cleaner was fantastic!!! I'd really appreciate that scent back. I boycott the Lavendar, that has no use in a male household. I have been using Lysol liquid 4 in 1 disinfectant for many years. You have been changing the packaging for years, and now I discovered that you recently changed this product from the 4 in 1 (DISINFECTANT, deodorizer, degreaser, etc.) to this stuff, which does NOT disinfect! And most markets do not carry the old-fashioned liquid disinfectant!
Please bring back the 4 in 1 liquid disinfectant product. I've been using 1/4 cup of the 4 in 1 in my wash for many years to disinfect and break up the grease. This is a waste of money. I'd rather use Pine Sol than this mess!!

I have been using Lysol liquid 4 in 1 disinfectant for many years. I see now that there is quite an outcry about not having the disinfectant in this product The Lysol brand has been synonomous with "clean" and "kills germs" since forever so I don't understand why you'd tarnish that image by removing the disinfectant. I have already switched to another brand.

I am very disappointed that I can no longer find Lysol, multi-surface cleaner, Pacific fresh with disinfectant. I have used the product for many years and had found it had a pleasant scent and met my cleaning needs. I will not substitute any of your other cleaners and plan to search for a competing product that meets my needs. Having been a loyal customer, I now feel that I have been abandoned. Reading other reviews, I see that there are others who feel as I do. Please bring back the product I had been so loyal to and I can once again be loyal to you.

I stopped at Costco today to pick my favorite Lysol antibacterial cleaner only to found that Lysol doesn't include any form of antibacterial properties in this product anymore, but instead has it in a multi-purpose cleaner. Lysol please, please, please... bring back the antibacterial cleaner because we as consumers are depending on you to help us keep a germ free environment especially our bathrooms, doorknobs, etc.

Your web site states that your "Pourable kills 99.9% of viruses & bacteria plus all-day freshness", but the bottle does not! So which is it? If it does not, I might as well buy the cheaper brand!! I love the Lavender & Orchid Essence scent, but the cheaper brand smells just as good. Please put the disinfectant Lysol is known for back in this product!

I am obsessed with using this multi purpose cleaner. I use it for everything, I love the scent. I love the way my tiles look after I use it. It is versatile I put it in my floor cleaner to my bleach bottle I use for more serious disinfectant areas just to help with the smell. Love it can never get enough of this product. Lysol has great sprays and wipes but my favorite thing by far is this cleaner for my daily and weekly maintenance of my house

In the red band under Lysol name, it was blank. I can only assume that due to the complaints, they decided to go back to the old way. The product is now named "Clean and Fresh", and it does have the 99.9% words in the red band.
I love this product!! My two favorite fragrances are Lemon and Waterfall.

I am an RN and really enjoy killing those pesky germs around my home. When the disinfecting part of my favorite Lysol Multi-Purpose disinfectant disappeared, I was so upset that I called the company. Well, I guess there were many others that did the same and low and behold, the Lysol folks listened to their customers ! Thank - you so much for bringing back my favorite Lysol product with the new name Clean and Fresh, complete with all the disinfecting power that I count on. I enjoy the new scents as well and have every confidence once again that my home is truly clean. Yea !

this stuff is even better than just the lemon
I bought the lemon the other day and tried it and loved it but in another store I saw this so bought it also .The sunflower and lemon is even better than the lemon which i gave a great review on also .But my real choice after trying this one today is the lemon and sunflower .The scent last longer than just the lemon .I used the lemon saturday and used this today and this would really be my first choice in fresh smell that lasts .The lemon was good but this is even better .But then it is lysol and I have been using it for years as my mom used it while I was growing up

Ew. I ran out of my lemon Lysol and to my absolute disappointment, this *NEW* scent is all I found at the store. Gag me. I will spend the extra money on Mr. Clean though I don't like it as much as the old lemon scented Lysol. Bring back the old scent and I will once again buy Lysol.

Went to several stores and couldn't find anything but all purpose cleaner and a bunch of specialty use products -- all at inflated prices compared to my old Lysol.I can't understand why Lysol would discontinue a great product, but I hope that they consider bringing it back and at the same value it used to be. Took it out if the shopping back and looked down at my tile floor and noticed I had stepped in some chewing gum somewhere during g my shopping. Yuck. Opened up the Lysol and dabbed some on a paper towel. A quick wipe or two and the gunk was gone and the fragrance lingers-- even now. The house smells wonderfully clean-- as if I had done a thorough clean from top to bottom. I recommend This product. Great clean-- great smell-- great price.

Great cleaner. Scent is a very personal thing, but I will comment that the Hawaii Sunset fragrance is wonderful. I like that it kills germs but seems to be kind to my skin and nose. I'm extremely sensitive to bleach, so this is a great cleaning alternative. I clean my entire kitchen top to bottom with this stuff. I cut it with water and put in my own spray bottle.

Why do you always think you need to change the scents to make a product better? I was forced from the old fashioned original scent to the lemon and now this? I want my kitchen floor to smell clean, not like flowery lemons. What a disappointment.

Why' did you get rid of your other formulas?
I've used this one and the orange scented one and they don't smell nice. It's a very artificial smell. It kind of makes me feel like I've just cleaned with orange soda. I don't even think it gets things as clean as the other formulas. Lysol was my only product choice, for years if I wanted something that would leave my home both disinfected and smelling super nice. If I wanted to reduce cost on buying cleaning products, Lysol had always been my go-to. My favorites were the original Lysol All Purpose Cleaner, that I purchased for over a decade, mainly, because this is the cleaner my mom used to use, in addition to the Lysol Concentrate (that I still purchase, please don't get rid of that). I'd also purchased, for about 4 years, your Lavender scented All-Purpose Cleaner, that I also no longer see in the stores. :o( Just like the original scent All-Purpose Cleaner, it had a very light, refreshing and clean smell.

Last night I went to Winn-Dixie, Publix, and Walmart; seems the only product available anywhere in my town is the yellow fully covered bottle (see product picture above), in the 48 oz size with the EXTRA oz included. My 92 year old mother-in-law cant pick up that size bottle, and frankly I don't need that size either. Sad, very sad.

I'm looking for the purple multi cleaner, I don't know the name of the fragrance, but I know it when I smell it. I've gone to all the stores in my small city and can't find it. I find the 40 oz size way too heavy to handle. Could not find smaller size in store. Also the bottle is so slippery you have to use 2 hands to hold it and it still slipped out of my hands 3 x. Lucky I had the cap on. Will not buy this again.

i just discovered lysol lemon and sunflower scented Clean and Fresh cleaner people walk in and say my apt smells good! And i like that it also kills germs

great cleaning products, thanks!
I have always used Lysol Concentrate ("the brown bottle stuff") in my laundry when something needed disinfecting - like when someone has the flu, or for disinfecting laundry as needed - but with the Lysol Multi Surface Cleaner, I see no instructions for using in the laundry.
So please tell me, is the multi surface cleaner safe to use in my laundry as a disinfectant? And how much would I be able to safely use?
Thanks for any info, it's truly needed!

Super clean with a lovely smell
I tried Lysol Citrus and Sunflower and fell in love with the smell. It cleans perfectly. All bathrooms are just shiny. And not a single smear on the floor. My cats have their own bathroom, where all the litter boxes are and there is always a bit of litter residue/dust on everything. Lysol gets everything clean and shiny. And I love the smell. Love it! This product is just perfect! PS. I have an extra sensitive skin and it is hard to find something delicate yet effective. Found it! Thank you Lysol!

Bring back old formula with Pacific Fresh scent
I relied on "blue Lysol" for many years. My sister relied on the old orange scent. Can't find either this year and there are no comparable scents. "Adirondack Fresh" smells like an old institution. Looking for a new cleaning product that kills germs. Why change something that works?

I love this product as an additive for laundry!
I add this item to my laundry- I have 3 boys and stuff gets dirty! It adds an extra boost and it smells amazing!
