Love this scent! After doing something that requires hand washing I not only remember to wash them, but actually look forward to it just to smell this yummy (basil) scent! Very fresh!

As someone who is sensitive to the "cover up" smells of most soaps and cleaners, I am sold on these products. Non-irritating to the skin and "respiratory friendly". Finally, an affordable alternative to perfumy chemicals!

I have this soap in my son's bathroom. He was having an awful reaction to anti-bacterial soap. I switched and now his skin is healthy again. This soap smells so good! The scent lasts a long time. Thank you for making a great product!

I clean houses for a living and having clean hands is important for my clients and myself. I love Meyers Basil because my hands are not dried out from washing constantly and the scent is heavenly!

This soap was recommended to me by a coworker who knew that I was an earth friendly shopper. I love it. It is by far the best scented product I have found yet. I have since converted my home and office to Mrs. Meyers.

I soap the scrubby sponge and then wash the dishes with that. My rinsing style is always over kill, I'm a Very heavy rinser, sort of obsessed, so I was surprised when I tasted a strange perfume in my glass water bottle and realized it was the new Basil Dish Soap. I positively did not skimp on the rinsing, probably washed out the interior of the bottle 5 times... Also this batch of soap does not seem to last as long as the geranium sample that sold me on the dish soap in the first place. I'm wondering if I should try another scent perhaps?

I bought this soap after using it in a clinic bathroom. I was obsessed with the smell immediately and I like that it's a good quality product. I find myself washing my hands even longer than usual just to make sure the scent sticks around!

I would buy this product again and again
This stuff is amazing. It smells great. I also love the Lemon Verbena. My hands don't dry out either. I love that it's all natural.

Basil scent has changed my life
I tried Mrs. Meyers because I wanted to switch to cruelty-free and earth-friendly products. When I discovered the wonderful Basil scent, I began using it as hand soap. Slowly, it became the soap at every sink in the house. Then the dish soap. Then the counter cleaner and the all-purpose cleaner... and so on. One could call me addicted to the refreshing scent made with principles. The products are quality value, which has kept me coming back. The only thing (literally) that I haven't tried are the candles. I think I'd even use it as a body wash, if it were available.
Keep up the good work, Mrs. Meyers team! The Parsley scent is fantastic, too!

I absolutely love this product--it is now in my bathrooms and in my kitchen. The fragrance has a light, clean smell--not too feminine or too masculine. It is very effective in cleaning, but is not harsh on your hands. I buy the refills so to be kinder to the environment(filling up the same bottles) and it is less costly as you get about 3 bottlefuls with each refill bag. I give this product 2 thumbs up!!!

I absolutely love this product--it is now in my bathrooms and in my kitchen. The fragrance has a light, clean smell--not too feminine or too masculine. It is very effective in cleaning, but is not harsh on your hands. I bought this product because I thought it was green. I avoid sodium lauryl sulfate because it is a harsh chemical and I am allergic to it. Turns out the second highest ingredient (behind water) is sodium coco-sulfate. This is actually the same thing as SLS, just a different name. Pretty deceptive if you ask me. I will be returning it to the store where I purchsed it.

I freakin love this soap! Never thought I would want to randomly wash my hands and go out of my way to do it- but this has done it! It's really long lasting, and the basil scent is AMAZING! If it weren't pretty expensive, I would have one in every sink in my house.

Smells heavenly, I wash my hands just so I can indulge in the basil aroma. Not drying at all considering how often I use it and one pump is plenty of soap. Basil is the fourth scent I've owned and I honestly cannot wait to try them all.

Apparently this smell is either one you really like or really don't. For me it is just overpowering! I like the Lemon verbena but thought I would try something different. Our store doesn't have that many choices in fragrance. Plan to try the Apple.

The best hand soap bar none!
I recently replaced all of the hand soaps throughout our home with Mrs Meyer's Basil Clean Day. I love that it is cruelty free, but oh that wonderful scent! How I love the Basil fragrance! And I must admit, your beautiful labels caught my eye when I saw them for the first time. Then after I tried some of your products including this hand soap, I was smitten. Cruelty free...the label, the scent and the wonderful way that my hands feel after I use this...I will never go back to my former hand soap brand again. I am so impressed with Mrs Meyer's products that I am telling everyone about them. I shop in stores that carry your products but they do not have the full line. I just placed my second order with you and I want to share with those who might be considering this fragrance...it is just heavenly...fresh, clean...not over-powering and this hand soap makes your hands feel so soft. You will feel as if you just used hand lotion and not soap on them. It is a winner!

(Still) Smells like cheap perfume
The Basil scented products used to have a fantastic crisp, clean and natural scent; they truly smelled like fresh cut basil. The basil hand soap was my "go to" hand soap. Some years ago the products were reformulated. Ever since the basil products smell like an awful cheap perfume. And without the label I would never identify the scent as "basil". I still take a sniff at the store hoping one day it smells as it once did. Unfortunately, still terrible.

The blend of basil and aloe give it a fresh "green" scent. Not perfumy, but more of a natural scent. I think the gift recipient is going to love it! Can I give you 100 stars?
I spent over 3 years and $3000 figuring out what was wrong with my fingers and why they were so painfully cracked open. I had used the Meyers hand soap (you got my husband hooked on the good smells). This last January 2017 I came home to a kitchen and bathroom of only Meyers. My husband said he was thinking his woman should try this solution. Sure enough my fingers are 95% better. These were life stopping cuts on my fingers. Thank you. (To my husband too)

I was surprised by how good the smelled. I wasn't sure about results when I bought it but it turns out it was pretty great! It also softened my hands so well and didn't leave any sticky residue. I absolutely love the Mrs. Meyer's line of cleaning products. I feel good about using them around the house knowing that I'm eliminating a lot of chemicals. Highly recommend the hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent and liquid fabric softener. I'm not a huge fan of all of the scents, pine and basil being my all time favorites. I have a washing machine that hooks up to my kitchen sink so I can actually see the dirty water from my machine that goes down the drain. My husband works on a road crew paving highways and his clothes are filthy when he gets home. The Mrs. Meyer's detergent gets out wayyyyyy more dirt and asphalt dust from his clothes than any other major brand I've tried. I'm a firm believer in the whole line of these products.I like to shy away from harsh chemicals and ingredients. If I can't pronounce it, I typically don't want it on my skin. This hand soap is lovely. I have it by my kitchen sink and in all of my bathrooms. It does smell like honeysuckle, but I also get a hint of gardenia..... Which is perfectly fine as I happen to adore gardenias. It doesn't dry out my "hey! Welcome to your 30's! Here's so sensitive skin for the first time in your life!" Skin. I can't say enough good things about this hand wash!While I really like almost every Mrs. Meyer's product, this is one of my absolute favorites!! They might call it "hand soap", but I use it for shower gel and, sometimes, shampoo. I particularly like it because in the spring, summer and fall seasons, it has a similar effect to citrus scents like Lemon Verbana, and helps to keep away flies and mosquitoes. That's my experience, it may not be yours. And I love the rhubarb scent. Delicate enough not to be overwhelming, but pleasant all the same. I've had lots of compliments on my "scent" (I rarely use perfume or cologne). I got this product for testing via crowdtap,and all the opinions are my own entirely!!!

I am constantly washing my hands so most soaps usually dry them out. Mrs. Meyers basik hand soap didnt. It kept my hands smooth, and for the already dired out hands from using other soaps i used the basil lotion and it repaired my dry damaged hands.

I have really enjoyed trying Mrs. Meyer's Basil Scented Hand Lotion. I like that the scent is not overpowering. My only negative observation is that too much is dispensed which makes it hard to eliminated excess lotion from my hands. The product does leave my hands soft and smooth once I have eliminated the excess with a tissue.

I received this product and the matching lotion scent for free to review and thought I'd be amazed at a difference it would make when i wash my hands.When I tried it it made my hands feel greasy and I had to wash my hands with a different soap so that i would be able to pick up my infant daughter when need be.The scent was also not very pleasant to me.

I started off with these in my bathroom but soon realized they would work in my Kitchen. The basil was a nice refreshing smell. It lathered nice with no after stickiness. I live in the country,making the fact there is no harsh chemicals even better.

I was skeptical when I received this lotion from Crowdtap for free to give my honest review. I thought I would not like the scent, but boy was I wrong! It is so crisp and refreshing. I use it every night after I am done doing the dishes. It leaves my hands soft and smooth, and the smell is gentle & makes me smile.

I was skeptical when I received this lotion from Crowdtap for free to give my honest review. I thought I would not like the scent, but boy was I wrong! It is so crisp and refreshing. I recieved this product free as a sample from crowd tap but have actually been using the Basil scented cleaner for over a year. I love the Basil smell! It leaves a fresh scent without being perfumy or overpowering. It's a perfect combo with the Basil hand lotion for any countertop. The price is a little high but it does last a long time, and it's typical to pay a little more for a natural product.

I got a chance to test Mrs. Meyers hand soap and hand lotion. I just loved the basil scent and on top of it they have rich and creamy formula and are made of natural ingredients, i love shea butter and its fragrance. Hand soap is amazing it cleans effectively and also moisturizer for hands as well. Basil scent is so so good i just loved its smell. I have this next to my kitchen sink and I use it as my daily hand wash for around the house. Not only do I use it but my husband and 2 older children use it and we all agree it's a great daily use soap.

I was sent a sample of the Basil Hand Soap and Lotion and oh wow.... I LOVE IT! The scent is truly amazing and it cleans and moisturizes well. I have set this baby to off limits for my kids cause I love it so much. I cannot wait to buy more amazing scents and products and was thrilled to see it sell at a local market!

I usually use the Lavender or Lemon scents. I was a little skeptical because I really didn't think Basil had a smell. I was wrong and this lotion has proven to be wonderful. I received Mrs Meyers basil hand soap and lotion complimentary for testing purposes, but all thoughts and opinions are all my own. I have to be honest when I first seen that the scent was Basil I was a little worried. I was pleasantly surprised on how fantastic the scent really is. Not only does it smell delicious but it works amazing. The soap is a nice lather, effective and moisturizing. top that off with the lotion...my hands are like brand new. excellent product, the bottles look great on my granite bathroom sink. Mrs Meyers has earned a new fan. i will continue to use this product for years to come. Highly recommend

I received this hand soap as a free sample from CrowdTap. A huge thank you to CrowdTap and Mrs. Meyers for introducing me to my new favorite cleaning product! I can't get over how incredible this smells! It's irresistible! It doesn't dry out my hands. They feel soft and clean and doesn't leave a film. It is not sticky and actually feels clean. The smell lingers on your skin and I can't stop smelling my hands. It is safe enough for my 5 year old niece, so I keep it the bathroom. I love smelling her after she uses it. It literally has a calming effect on me. I'm not going to lie, the dog may smell like basil after his bath. I love how the ingredients are simple and safe for the environment. I mostly live the story behind this product. It has inspired me to get outside and garden with the kids. We have planted lots of basil! I can't wait to try all the other scents!

I'm in love with this soap! I have super dry and sensitive skin. This soap is a life saver. It comes in a cute bottle and is made with great ingredients like aloe and olive oil. I used this product after I went to the bathroom. I love the light scent and how clean my hands feel after I use it. Then I use the hand lotion. My hands have been very happy since I began using this product.

Pump has been sabotaged to waste product
How can people stand by all these companies that activlely engage in the science of covertly sabotaging there own products so we customers have to waste and buy more than we actually need. If i am incorrect in these assumption then show one good reason they would change the pump that worked perfectly when this company was struggling to build customers base... You can't. I won't accept excuses this type of greed, it is destroying our planets precious resources and I will not condone it for a second

I have used and loved Mrs Meyers hand soap for years. Now, however, the pump doesn't rise back to the top after use. I hate to have to look for a different soap, but what's the deal? Why change the design of the pump to one that doesn't spring back up, ready for its next use?

The contents of the package are awesome. Unfortunately every time I try to pump it, the top is stuck down. Grabbing the bottle with both dirty hands to retract it is disgusting. I won't be a customer any longer due to this. That's unfortunate as I really like the products.

O my I think I'm in love!!
I picked this product up from my local organic store and I'm in love! This scent is so fresh and light. I'm so obsessed I have to buy every product in this scent now! FYI I've invested in my own pumps.

Where is the soaping agent in your soap. Potassium Hydroxide or sodium hydroxide (Lye)? This can't possibly be soap if neither one of those were use in making this product? Why hide ingredients? A lot of "natural" companies do this and its deceiving to customers.

I recently discovered Mrs. Meyer's products. I was at a friends house and she had the hand soap. I instantly fell in love with the scent and went online to buy it the next day. I found so many more products and $50 later, I placed my order of hand soap, hand soap refill, dish soap, all purpose cleaning bottle, and two bottles of concentrated all purpose cleaner. The products work and smell fantastic. It is also very important to me that these products are backed by Leaping Bunny. With that being said, there are two "problems" I have with these products. One: I would love to have a shampoo and conditioner of this same scent. Two: I would also love to be able to purchase a sample kit of all smells. Maybe have the hand soap in all scents as a small, travel size container to purchase. Love this product and plan to continue shopping on this website! Thanks for the great, animal friendly product!

This is seriously the best handsoap I have ever tried! Even after washing my hands, the basil scent from the handsoap fills the air and brings so much peace and happiness! No irritation or dryness! I will continue having this be my go to handsoap! I also love the dish soap and the Multi-Surface Everyday cleaner! Thank you Mrs. Meyer for creating such a wonderful cleaning line!

I first used this scent at a restaurant and had to find the manager to ask what it was. I've ordered multiple products in Basil since, and have just reordered a handful of different basil items. I absolutely love this soap and scent!
