Fragrance Free Ant and Roach Killer, 17.5oz Aerosol Can

It was like the attack of the earwigs this year... everywhere I looked, there were earwigs. They were in my cats water bowl, running in my carpet..and when I opened my french doors they would fall from the top.....more accumulative earwigs than I've seen in a long time. Well... I used my raid and sprayed the outside of my french doors. And the earwigs are dead and gone. I love Raid.. and highly recommend it.

I need to cover a big area. I have bought 3 Raid products and NONE of them cover a wide stream. If I could teach the pests to walk in a straight line, I'd be happy but this isn't the case.

I've been using this one for years. Fast killing effect with no fumes or chemical odors....recommended

It is the first product that I grab every time I see a trail of ants or a roach. It does the job and the smell is not too bad for being a bug killing spray.

This product worked great in our rv for killing those pesky ants.

This product definitely works, but not without a strong odor and greasy residue left behind. It is great for areas where the family is not around though or to treat before hand then clean up.

Have trusted Raid for years. I live in NYC, so you know how that goes. I use to to kill roaches and other bugs. I also spray my apartment entry door as a preventative measure.

This is the only product that i use and i keep it on hand all the time, it states it will have an effect up to 4 weeks, i can spray kill a few roaches and five minutes later they are back in the same spot!

I have purchased many cans of this product in the last several years. I always have to mop up residue when I use it - especially if it is on my hardwood floors. I'm afraid the moisture will ruin them. Could you please replace or adjust the nozzle so that I get a mist instead of a shower?

why is it when i get near the bottom of the can and there is still liquid in it, it stops spraying?

Yes it kills the roaches on contact well about 5 seconds but I've gotten several bottles in my new home and every where I've sprayed last week roaches are back in those spots so I'm not understanding how it kills up to 4 weeks

I have used this on a couple of species of roaches and the pest would die very quickly....quickly meaning they would die right in front of me after one spray.
Great product!! The four star instead of five is because their is a specified time when these bugs finally croak.

This kills on conetract and seems to keep them away.

This products works pretty good for me. The roaches really don't die right away, and I have purchase two cans that were defected in that I had to throw them away totally full. The spray can was I guess broken inside so I couldn't use them. It is one of the best. Be aware to test for defected cans.

The product is ok, I just DO NOT LIKE the fact that I have to drown the roaches in the spray. For me it does not kill on contact. I spray and the roaches scatter. And it does not last up to 4 weeks I keep seeing roaches, especially in the kitchen. I keep a clean home, and I've tried everything, they keep coming. Sick and tired of wasting money.

Doesn't seem to last very long. Have to spray nearly every day.

I have 3 cans that I keep in different rooms.  Two of the almost full cans no longer spray. Only a thin stream comes out which makes it impossible to target an insect, etc. I follow directions and shake.  Still not spraying.

Cannot spray with either of the 2 cans I bought.  Only a stream. Unable to use these cans.  This has happened in the past, with other RAID cans.  I followed the directions and shook the cans.

it doesn't work like they say. I used the spray the barrier the baits and none keeps them from coming back only kills on contact

I don't know if this is water sold as Raid, but this is not the product it used to be! Raid has always been my go-to when it came to insecticides. I have a mild phobia of roaches, but I always felt confident with Raid because one shot of this stuff and they were dead! I bought a new bottle and it simply doesn't work! I don't know if I have a special breed of roaches (I don't), but this stuff works like water now! Please go back to the original formula, if there has been any changes, because roaches are simply laughing at this stuff.

First off it doesn't spray like a normal aerosal can. It's more like a water fountain. Therefore you have to have good aim to get running cockroaches. Even when you do spray them, they don't die on contact. Some of them I had to spray 2-3 times. It seems like I'm using half a can just to kill a few roaches.

Sprayed directly on small roach... kept walking in piece of paper. Sprayed again finally dropped to floor. spinning upside down for two minuets then righted itself and started walking away. Had to smush it. Also sometimes fog-spray sometime jet spray... not consistent.

Me and my fiancГ©e have been having an ant problem for a while now. I have tried white vinegar and other products. Neither was effective. Once I tried Raid Ant & Roach spray and witnessed the amazing on contact effect, as the ants were dying immediately, I was astonished. This product is highly recommended.

By that time, I've used up a good portion of the product -- in fact that "good portion" is wasted because it's spraying too much. Your cans have been doing this for at least the last year & a half and you should do something to stop it. It should spray the mist when first purchased and not waste a third of the product.

This is a great product. But they need to make a on the go can.

I have been a customer of RAID and recently I purchased a 20oz can of lemon sent spray roach and ant killer the sprayer does not work most of the time.  It causes a mess when you attempt to use it all over the counter in my kitchen and does not spray at all.  This is the second time that it has occurred.  I have used other brands and have not had the problem.  It appears that the company is attempting to save money and has found a cheap sprayer to put on the cans.  I will not purchase the Raid spray again because it makes a mess and is not easy to use.

This products kicks butt!!!!  As soon as I spray them,they flip over and die! There is no strong poison odor and it works alot better then Hot Shot and Bengal!!

So I have tried using the Raid defense system as intended. The roaches have slowed down a bit but they still keep coming. I've sealed cracks and holes in my kitchen and sprayed wherever I see a roach. Whenever I spray the can after shaking, the air pressure that comes out scares the roach before I get the spray to kill it. Or it will blow the roach where I can't spray it and it gets away. Not to mention that the roaches seemed to be be getting a bit more resilient to the spray because instead of a normal 3-second kill for the roach to die, it still wiggled around for about 8 seconds before croaking. The product itself is still good but we need something that can kill a roach like 3 seconds on the spot. If SC Johnson could develop a crack sealing paste with raid built in, I would definitely buy that. But for now, I will stick to Raid Max: Ant and Roach. I just wish that the Raid Max didn't have such a strong odor to it that spreads down my hall way after a literal 3 second spray burst.

I am in an older house from the 20's and I just started using Raid ant and roach killer.  I have an ant issue and Raid deffinantly takes care of it.  One spray.  BAM!  It even kills flys, beetles, spiders and pretty much anything that annoys you.  Plus it smells great.  THANK YOU RAID!!!!!

Sprayed carpenter ant and did nothing, but kills other ants I have killed... I do have a video but this only allows YouTube links :(...

I usually buy Raid Ant &Roach Spray...but this last time I bought Real Kill Ant &Roach because they were out of the Unscented Raid  A&R Spray. I WILL always  buy the RAID A&R SPRAY ftom now on!!! The Real Kill was WORTHLESS...it says on the container  'Kills On Contact'...DONT YOU BELIEVE IT!      Raid A&R DOES what it says...IT DOES KILL ON CONTACT and does not leave a residue!  I will go to another  store if my current stores supply is out. I WON'T my money on REAL KILL again.

Raid bug barrier and the can of regular raid did no good i even bought the roach baits. It seems when we spray the roaches laugh and say we need something stronger.Evem used the foggers expecting to see dead roaches we saw a few only . since then i use amonia and water that works great.

Waited 15 minutes checked again, saw a few 6-10 little ones sprayed them and stand again. So far so good. Checking again in about 10 minutes. So far very pleased. This is a large tank 72 bowfront reef ready for 50 bucks. Good deal as long as Raid and I can solve this problem. Thank God I caught it before it moved it's infestation into my house.

This product does as advertised and KILLS cockroaches dead  on contact. As soon as I saw my first roach I ran out to wallmart and bought multiple bottles!!!! Those roaches just signed there death warrant. Thanks for the great product.

Kills all sorts of bugs, took care of my ant problem in one spray. Also quickly killed the spiders on my deck, no problem. Will buy again.

I used this product two weeks ago on the floor and baseboards around my sliding glass patio door where we had an ant and spider problem; this product killed the bugs immediately and I haven't seen a bug since! Great product will buy again

I use to spray a roach and literally it would kill on contact!  Now, I have to chase the thing with a STREAM for close to a minute in order to get it to die.  What happened to the original formula?  BRING IT BACK!!  This new stream stuff doesn't work at all!

My apartment is on the second floor of a house built in 1900. I get my fair share of big honkin' centipedes at night and a little shot of this stuns them long enough so I can grab a shoe to finish the job. I had a massive 2 inch cockroach ricocheting around my room one night. I sprayed that sucker for about 5 seconds and was so relieved when he was down for the count. I keep my RAID within arms reach these days, sometimes I even walk around shaking it to let the pests know it's happy hour and I'm mixing up a death cocktail.

My only complaint is that with about 1/4 of the can left it seems like the product is losing its potency and it is taking a bit more to get the job done. Time to restock!

The nozzle sprays a heavy messy stream of product. Please hire someone who knows how to make a nozzle that will properly dispense the liquid. JUST FIX IT!

Works great. I had a messy stream at first too but thats because you have to shake the can first as the directions say on the bottle. So if you have a stream, make sure you shake well first. Works like a charm.

Best investment ever - We had an insect problem with the like of moths, flies, wasps, etc. - that entered through the window at night. The raid spray solved everything.

Benefits -
1) Efficiency - We sprayed an entire room and closed the door - left for work and came back a few hours later and every insect was there lying dead on the floor - Mass sprayings avoid any effort such as searching for targets etc.
2) Versatility - We sprayed a massive spider yesterday because we couldn't think of any alternative but to our surprise the spray worked!
3) Safe - Alternative approaches may involve threats from proximity or complexity but the raid spray works from a safe distance - even if the target jumps or flies you can stay safe. You can also move and spray at the same time so if your target approaches you, you kite it till it dies.

Cons - It's strong (evidently) - so you don't want to spray upwards if you're underneath (this can happen if a smart fly rushes at you). Just be clear headed and calm when you start eliminating the threats to your home.

The past few times I've bought this I've had the same problem. It comes out as a stream instead of a spray. It makes a huge mess everywhere and makes it difficult to spray where it's needed. I thought it might have just been a bad can but every one I've gotten lately has had the same problem. Because of this I'm going to have to switch to another brand.
