I just love these file folders. I refer to them as the old kind because they are no fuss, all the same color, and hold up well. I use these folders for everything at home and in the office. I file all kinds of things, including patterns for sewing, reference manuals, receipts,templates, etc. They are a jack of all trades!! I have even used the folders to cut out a template for a pattern. Thanks for a great product!

I have to organize the tab folders to be in sequence of left tab, center tab, and right tab so when I need a file folder all my "jobs" are readable by having them presented in my drawer pleasing to the eye!

I purchased 1100 of these folders and every one of them had a clumpy wrinkly crease going down the length of the folder. I wish I had time to return them but I had a deadline and although I was embarrassed by them I used them anyways. Next time if there are other choices I will not get Smead.

The 1/3 cut tabs allow for finding files very quickly. having the tabs spaced out helps so you can just look in the cabinet and see the file you want rather than having to search. Reduces time spent searching, they are made in the USA and they contain recyclable materials. All around excellent product.

Highest Quality File Folders
I love these file folders. I spend the majority of my work day filing important paperwork. This paperwork is kept around for at least 5 years. The file folders that are used have to be durable and of high quality. Smead 1/3 Cut Manila File Folders are just that. The corners don't bend as often as other brands and they are of a the perfect thickness to be light and durable. I highly recommend these to anyone that has to do intense filing.

A Place for Everything......

I use the Top Tab File Folders everyday at work. I go through about four boxes a week. They are strong folders that don't bend and tear up easy. I can put a lot of paperwork into the file and it holds the paperwork without them sliding all out. I would say these are some of the best folders I have used in my 10 years at my job. Thanks Smead for great file folders.

It is amazing how much I rely on the Smead 1/3-cut tab folders. Regardless of how much I download and file on my computer - there seems to be so much more that gets printed. I keep a stack of the Smead 1/3-cut tab folders in a fancy magazine holder on my desk. As soon as I print something, I reach for the folders. The label space is large enough for me to write the name and I don't have to look for my reading glasses.

I work at a Police Department & all we use in Records & Evidence are the Tab folders #10330. We file reports in them and file evidence away for safekeeping. These folders are great to file in numerical order by case number. Staying organized is a major part of our jobs & these Tab folders help us to get the job done right, and efficiently!

We use hundreds of these manila folders a day and never have a problem with them. They are great quality, no matter how old they are or how beat up they get they still get the job done!!!! The only reason we stay organized is because of these folders!! There are multiple uses for them and they keep our business nice and tiddy!!! If we didn't have these folders there would be no organization and there would be paper everywhere!! MANILA FOLDERS EQUALS ORGANIZATION! :)

I cannot say enough about this product! Working in a legal department means serious organization and these folders get the job done! From sorting pleadings to discovery, I know where everything is when I need it. Switching files constantly can cause wear and tear on the average file folder but with Smead I never have to worry about my file folder ripping unnecessarily because the quality is there. I couldn't ask for more, thank you Smead and keep the great products coming!

As a travel agent for over 40 years, one has to be organized to a fault, what with every aspect of a client, be it vacation likes, passport numbers and credit cards, to say the least! Manila folders are the bible of organization, and Smead makes the most sturdy, high quality, fairly priced folders I've found! Office Quality Recommended!!!

Moving into a job without the prior employee available for information or training was a challenge. I found many of her paper files, though, and was able to organize them using these folders. It gave me a better understanding of the job responsibilities, contacts in the organization and community, and improved my confidence in my abilities to handle the job adequately. I also use these folders on a continual basis for patient reports.

As the records clerk for a multi-district school program, we keep detailed student records. I use three or four boxes of the 1/3-cut tab folders a year. I can depend upon being able to relabel and reuse these folders several times over and they will maintain a clean and crisp appearance. The 1/3-cut tab allows space for labels using 14-16 point type saving time and patience when searching for files. These files are good service for good value.

Great Product For Our Office (a newspaper publisher)
We have used these same file folders in our office since I've been here - which is 12 years! Everyone in our office, from the Advertising Coordinator, our reporters, our Editor and me, the secretary use them for all of our needs. They are sturdy- my used ones from years ago look brand new except for the writing on them. They last forever! And at a great price year after year. We wouldnt use anything else.

At first I was concerned with the size of the folder. What if it is too big? What if it is too small? But as I opened the box, and sorted my papers into each folder I found that Legal or not it was just the right thought! The tab gave me the amount that was needed to shout as I put my documents into the middle it became clear that this is the one I needed the one I will hold dear.

The folders are sturdy yet not too thick and hold quite a bit of paperwork. The tabs rotate so when filing it is easy to see what you are looking for and can grab the file in a jiffy.

Getting the house in order
I use lots of folders in organizing my household finances and I usually recycle folders for a few years. It was time for new ones and I was so excited to get these. Nice thickness, not flimsy like some other I've purchased. I'm very happy with my purchase. Great value for the price!

The only folders that I purchase
At year end I use these to file last year paperwork and I purchase new for the current year. They hold up great. The tabs (1/5) are the perfect size for the filing cabinets without getting stuck when opening and closing the drawers.

Could improve on packaging convenience
The folders are packaged as groups of all left tabs, all middle tabs, all right tabs. Would be much more convenient to have them packaged left, middle, right, left, middle, right, etc. I buy this item so all of the tabs are not on one side or the other in my file cabinet so have to sort them myself which is time consuming.

We currently use this product on a daily basis, a folder for each "shipment" we bring into the USA, thats about 10 folders a day and all records are kept within the folders for years. These folders are stong, durable and are very easy to label. I have not yet seen one rip or have anything labled smudge!! Working with them is a pleasure and brightens my day!

I use these folders to file all of my staff and clients' paperwork. These folders keep me organized. I love the large tabs to write on; they are easy to read and help me find what I am looking for quick. I also love the durability of these folders. When I am done with the folder I can just turn it inside out and reuse it. They hold up and I have never had to replace a folder because it wore out.

Smead File Folder 10330, 1/3 -Cut Tab
Each of our clients has a folder. These client folders are filed alphabetically
and stored in a regular filing cabinet. The tabs are large enough to print the
name of the client. We use the Manila folder and the Red folder. The Manila
folder is for regular clients. The Red folder is for clients which are exceptions
and are not served on a regular basis. The color difference makes it easy to
know what type of client you are dealing with.

Good, durable product but a little pricey now
I use it for everyday file system and for storing.
It is of a good quality and durable. I like this product and have been using it for a while. However, recently the retailer I'm buying the item from, increased the price by rather steep 22% (probably because of supplier increase)Due to that I may try and switch to other brands.

Top of the line file folder
I always know when I see a Smead product it means quality and these file folders are another example of that. I use hundreds of these to keep my files organized inside my hanging file folders.

I am a file folder queen. I keep files of personal and business information, reports and even travel itineraries. I like the 1/3 cut file folders. The length of the tab gives me enough space to write the contents of the folder. Some like colors, but I am just as pleased to be using the manila colored folers.

This worked perfectly as we shifted our simple colored filing system with client names at the top to the medical labeling system. While there are more steps to prepare a file the efficiency effectiveness and containment of a client's paper file has been a great change! The only thing we wished it had was a laminate strip where the labeling goes so that when files are purged to storage the file can be easily reused. (We currently line it with a strip of tape but it is time consuming)

The words are too limiting to express the true joy of the 1/3 cut tab folders manufactured by SMEADВ®. The genius left-middle-right tab options render the arduous task of file hunting virtually effortless.
The SMEADВ® company does not skimp on quality, settling for no less than 11 point card stock as opposed to the 9.5 point stock other companies have. I use these folders everyday for many reasons and they never disappoint. Love Love Love that they are recycled and made in the USA.

I use these several times a day to contain customer orders. They are perfect for keeping everything contained and orderly the only downside is when there are more documents than usual in an order I need to use two folders.

I love many aspects of this folder design, and have enjoyed Smead products for a long time. This company helped cultivate my unyielding love of office supplies. Recently the card stock used to craft these folders has changed. The surface is more fibrous, and not as smooth. This means ink pens now bleed readily when writing on them, and even using a standard Post-It note causes a swath of fibers to pull up and leave the surface marred. Also, they seem to be moving to use a thinner stock. In an office that uses folders to contain files that can last 40+ years, this is not a great change. I hold hope that the changes are a trial run and that the quality will return.
