This coffee is fantastic...
This coffee is so rich and 'chocolatey' - it could probably be used alone to make a mocha latte, rather than using expresso and chocolate syrup. If you like chocolate + coffee, this is for you!

My husband who always orders specialty coffees, I prefer plain loves this coffee - he used to mix hot chocolate with coffee k cups and this is what he was looking for - thanks - he can't wait to try the Chai Latte

WHAT'S IN THE INGREDIENTS
Why is it that they need to use an artificial sweetener and not let it be known, only in the fine print of the ingredient list? I cannot stand the artificial taste.

Not a coffee but good hot chocolate
First, this is not a coffee but hot chocolate! I bought it thinking it was a coffee since I am still sad over the loss of not having Gloria Jean's cinnamon mocha (which has been my very favorite for a long time). I saw this mocha and thought I'd try it. It surprised me to find out that it is a hot chocolate and not really a coffee. The K-cups recommend that you shake them first to get the full flavor so be sure to do that. It has a very good taste.

pleasant but slightly unbalanced flavors
I love the flavor of coffee and hot chocolate together. However, I was slightly disappointed with this blend. The coffee is hardly detectable, and the hot chocolate is the obvious fore-flavor. Would enjoy more if it were the opposite, coffee with a hint of hot chocolate. But still pleasant nevertheless! Am in between on the recommendation.

No more coffee house mochas for me!
The only reason this did not get 5 stars was because it is not available in decaf. My husband can only have decaf coffee and he is missing out on this wonderful flavor! Please consider making a decaf version.

We ordered what we thought was a mocha coffee. This is a hot chocolate. We can't taste the coffee in it at all. It is VERY sweet and not something I want to have a cup of first thing in the morning. I just wish the description had stated that it was more of a hot chocolate than coffee.

This is more like hot chocolate. I had Mocha Java I think by Timothy's and it was awesome. Just like a Mocha from Starbuck's. I bought this at my local grocery store because that's one they carried. It seems to be lacking in the coffee part. Not much coffee flavor at all.

I absolutely do not like Starbucks' mochas so I figured I probably wouldn't like this. I received it as a present so I figured I'd go ahead and try it. I love it though. I love hot chocolate so to me this does resemble hot chocolate a lot. I usually don't like plain coffee taste (have to have lots of creamer and sugar), but I don't taste the coffee in here at all. If you like hot chocolate, you should try it!

I love this. However I do not follow the directions when making it. I make it on the 12oz setting and then add cream and splenda to it... Love it, but I do like sweet, not bitter coffee.

I bought the Breville for my husband who was so excited about making a great cup of coffee one cup at a time. While shopping for K-cups for him, I was excited to find a mocha for me. I was greatly disappointed. Quik Trip's mocha is better than this. On the 7.25 setting it is way too chocolately and on the 9.25 setting it is way too weak. On neither setting do you taste any coffee flavor at all. This is basically a really bad hot chocolate.

Good hot cocoa, not a cafe mocha
As a hot cocoa I would have given this a 5, but this is supposed to be a cafe mocha. I taste no coffee flavor. You should also be careful to not brew more than an 8oz cup since there isn't enough powder (no coffee grounds in this k-cup) in the k-cup for more than that.

I am someone who used to go to the gas station and mix half coffee and half that cappachino machine stuff... anyhow, after getting a Keurig, I ordered these cups and they are perfect. The fit the same "frothy/sweet" standards I was looking for. I am just waiting for them to have more flavors in this fashion.

If you are thinking of buying, don't.
I purchased this with the hope that it would taste better than the Green Mountain Hot Cocoa variety. I was very disappointed. This not only tastes worse and is just as week as the other variety there is a very strong artificial sweetener taste. I had a co-worker who enjoys diet drinks try it and she even noticed the taste. She also mentioned that it smelled like beef broth. Needless to say out of the entire box that cost nearly $18 we got two unsatisfying cups. I threw away the rest of the box because no one else was willing to try it after our review. Do yourself a favor and don't try this one. It's really baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

I loved the Mocha, I use a little less water and it comes out great. Would not recommend it for your first cup of coffe in the morning but definately for late morning and afternoon.

It's true - It's basically hot chocolate
If you buy wanting hot chocolate, you'll be satisfied. If you buy thinking it's what it is described as, being cafe mocha, you'll be disappointed. It doesn't taste bad, just doesn't taste like a cafe mocha. I will say that I've had the hot chocolate k-cups before and if I want hot chocolate, I'd rather drink this because it's not as watered down as the regular hot chocolate. I will have to disagree totally with the person who said this is better than Starbuck's cafe mocha, not even in the same ballpark.

Great with Whipped Topping
By itself, it is average at best, but if you add a little whipped topping and stir it in, it is fantastic. I strongly recomend trying it with whipped topping. You won't be sorry.

One of our group of retirees brings his very own Keurig Coffee Maker AND a vairety of coffees and teas. This caused me to buy our own maker!! Cafe Mocha is our own special treat to ourselves.

This is not the perfect paring of chocolate and coffee at all. As a matter of fact, I currently have 3 boxes of cafe escapes collecting dust in my pantry. This is the most watered down coffee I have ever tasted. Even after adding milk. Would not recommend this and would probably not even give it away for free.

good for quick coffee fix
I found this coffee to be alright for a quick coffee fix in the morning. It does have a bit of an aftertaste so I froth a bit of milk first ( with a small hand frother) and this seems to help it taste a bit more like a coffee house mocha. They need to come up with a K cup that has a bit more expresso and a creamy flavor. I tend to mix them, but that requires 2 K cups.

There's no coffee in my mocha!
I like hot cocoa, and I like sweet coffee, so naturally I love a good mocha. So when I saw these in the store and noticed they were only 60 calories per cup, I jumped at the chance. Boy, was I disappointed! This is a cup of SUPER sweet hot cocoa, with a barely detectable hint of coffee. It's not even particularly good cocoa, because it has a strange aftertaste. I like Cafe Escapes dark chocolate hot cocoa, and this is not as good as that. If you want an instant mocha from your Keurig, I'd recommend just adding some chocolate syrup to your favorite coffee K-cup instead. Or pick up the Cafe Escapes dark chocolate cocoa and add some instant coffee to it. Either way would be better than this.

Tastes like it came from a coffee shop!
I swear I used to pay $5 for this same drink at the overpriced coffee shop I used before buying my brewew!! The only downside to this k-cup is that the coffee flavor is almost entirely overpowered by the chocolate- if, like me, you'd rather taste more chocolate than coffee, it's perfect.

I was pretty disappointed in this K-Cup. It's the only mocha on the market but tastes like regular hot cocoa. After you finish brewing it, there is nothing left in the cup...so if there is any coffee in it, it's instant :-(

A nice coffee for end-of-the-day pleasure. Lovely taste and aroma. Doesn't make you peppy, brilliant, or focused. Try it when you don't need to be peppy, brilliant, or focused, just calm and imaginative. Fire in the fireplace and large dog enhance the experience.

This Cafe Mocha doesn't have any ground coffee in it, the K-cup has no filter and when it is done brewing there is no grounds left in the K-cup. It is an instant coffee mix or cocoa type drink. The flavor is exactly like some mochas I have tasted before in coffee shops, so that made me happy. I enjoy that mocha-chocolate flavor with my coffee. Some may find it too sweet, if this is true, just brew it in a bigger cup and brew a regular coffee K-cup with it. I think it is pretty good just the way it is!

It's great paired with other coffees!
I read the reviews before buying and was a little worried. This coffee as stated in many review is really sweet, like hot chocolate. But, the great thing is that you can use it to pair with any other coffee in place of using sugar or artificial sweetner. Pairing it with another coffee gives it the coffee kick it needs to make it taste more like coffee while adding sweetness to this coffee without using sugar. And you get the mocha flavor to boot! It's a no lose situation. I add some half and half to the bottom of my mug (to give a creamy flavor - optional of course), add the coffe of choice on medium setting, and then add the Cafe Mocha on low setting last. Make sure to use a travel mug or your cup will overflow. It's perfect!! My husband's favorite combination is the Butter Toffee and Cafe Mocha. I like to pair the extra bold coffees such as Newman's Own or Emerils with the Cafe Mocha. Don't throw that Cafe Mocha away! Try it, you'll love it!!

Fun, but not for everyday drinking.
I've recently decided to lose weight and found Cafe Escapes to be a satisfying sweet treat and with only 60 calories a cup. I'm a half and half lover and tend to put more cream than coffee in my hot beverages, but this has a surprising creaminess to it for only being brewed with water. Not for everyone ( my friend DID NOT like it at all.) and I feel a bit skeptical on the fact that K-Cups are not environmentally friendly. A fun experimental purchase but not something I would drink everyday. Still love my regular coffee more.

I was so disappointed with this flavor. This is worse than vending machine coffee. I thought to myself that it tastes like cheap instant coffee. And sure enough if you read the ingredients...it is. I can't believe I paid extra for these k-cups. Very disappointing.

When my girlfriend and I saw these they looked like something new to try that might be ok. Turns out they are just an instant mix type of coffee similar to generic hot cocoa mix. There is no filter in these k cups. It just a powder that mixes into your water. Some people might enjoy this fake, gas station flavor but I certainly do not. It goes against why I personally bought the Keurig Brewer. I get a clean, delicious cup of coffee every time. Some people may like these, but this type of thing does not appeal to me at all.

I'm not sure why this was only given 3.5 stars as I was very happy with the flavor in this Cafe Mocha. My hubby, who isnt much of a "sweet drink" person, guzzled his first cup of this and said he thought it was really good too. I recommend you give this a try, remember to shake each K-cup before usage as you could get uneven flavor. It does seem to be thicker than most hot chocolates but again its worth every sip.

My husband and I just LOVE this! It has a perfect combination of chocolate and coffee flavors. Make sure you use the small or teacup setting for the best flavor. The only problem we have with it is we go through it so fast!

Did they even test market this stuff? It is absolutely horrible! It is unpleasant from the time you put it in your mouth all the way to the horrible aftertaste. I thought is was going to be something that tasted like half cocoa/half coffee. Wow was I wrong. I really can't even believe they sell this. Again, like many others, I am stuck with a box of this!

I can see why this came free w/brewer...
Not at all what I would have expected in comparison with the flavored brews/ciders/etc I have enjoyed. I wouldn't waste a dime as the cup just isn't an enjoyable cup of hot chocolate...I've even tried using a stronger brew, but it's just not going to cut it with any variation.

This is a excellent drink of you want a bland cup of hot coco... which honestly I can buy much cheaper somewhere else. It's not aweful and honestly I will use the whole package because its just like weak hot coco. It has hardley any taste of coffee which really ruins the whole reason why people buy mocha. I have taken to spruceing up some of the coffee combo's I got as a starter kit with my new brewer. Creamy chocolate creamer + Choclate Syrup in any Bold coffee = Much more like the taste of mocha I was after when I bought the 16 cups pack of cafe mocha.

I didn't add any milk to this, so this is just based on the undoctored version. It is flavored with an artificial sweetener of some kind - aspartame maybe and leaves a gross aftertaste. I am very glad I only bought the pack of three from BBB.

I used this K-Cup at work thinking it would add a little sweetness to my coffee routine and it was GROSS! I instantly recognized the fake sugar aftertaste and bitter coffee taste. It uses instant coffee for that flavor and the hot chocolate is not even comparable to anything else. For good hot chocolate, try the single serve hot chocolate packs sold in the grocery store in fun flavors like raspberry or the actual shaved hot chocolate mixes they sell at the high end mall stores. Then mix with your favorite coffee. Or add some chocolate syrup to your coffee and it is still better than this disgusting "Cafe Mocha." I can't believe they sell this! Definitely ruined my first Keurig experience. Hope that the other flavors are much better!

My husband doesn't like coffee, so I bought a box of this cocoa for him. He likes it just fine, but I think it is weak and even tastes like it's sugar-free, with a Splenda-like taste to it. I checked the ingredients, and it's NOT sugar-free. But tastes like it has that kind of flavor, and it's not for me, or even good. Stick with another brand, or even the boxed little pouches!

heavy on chocolate, light on coffee
I think this Mocha is very good. I will say that it is difficult to taste the Coffee in it, however has a great taste. I think this is better then the Hot Cocoa you can get. Still has that strange Sucralose (sweetner) aftertaste. But not bad for a 15 second mocha.

This is my absolute favorite. I recently bought a Keurig to save money on going to coffee shops for mochas. I'm not a 'coffee person' but love mochas and such. I'm in trouble if they ever get rid of this!!!!!

This one is my all-time favorite so far. I drink it in the morning. I drink it after dinner as a dessert. I drink it at night with a shot of a well-known liquer. My kids even like it. You can't go wrong with this one.

This powdered concoction tastes like those coffee mixes in the little cans. Not enough coffee flavor for me either, it's almost like a watery hot chocolate. I tried everything to make it taste better- added milk, added a shot of espresso. Nope. Could not get over that weird aftertaste. My boyfriend thought it wasn't too bad, at least he will finish up the box! Will not purchase again though.

This reminds me more of a hot chocolate then a coffee. No creamer or sugar needed! I had my daughter try it to see if it tasted more like hot chocolate to her. She said she could taste the coffee part but liked the chocolate too. She's 11! :) Great pick me up in the morning for something diff. Or for an after dinner dessert coffee. yummy

It definitely was not what I expected when I purchased it. I really enjoy mocha flavored beverages and this did not taste anything of the sorts. I also could not seem to get it taste right even after adding sugar and/or creamer.

I'm surprised people actually like this stuff. Maybe we(the people who didn't like it)got a bad batch. I thought it was watery, even after I tried using a smaller cup size(I went down to 6oz) and it was still weak. I tried adding a little Agave sweetener and cream, and that didn't help. I won't buy this flavor again.

Love love love the Cafe Mocha! Perfect for the "gotta have CHOCOLATE" moments. I drink the strong coffees black normally but this is a great splurge for me. If I had to change anything, I'd request this in "Sugar Free" as well.

I love this by itself but one of my best uses is to mix it with 1 k-cup of regular coffee. If I want it stronger coffee I use a large coffee setting and then brew a small cafe mocha. If I want more cafe mocha with a little coffee I do just the opposite. Or just drink it alone

What a perfect way to start the day. Not your typical coffee beverage because this creation of art is the perfect blend of hot chocolate and coffee, especially for folks who prefer their coffee sweetened. It is not overly sweet, and has just the right kick of caffeine to get you off and running. If it came in decaf I would be enjoying it all day!

I love every K Cup I have tried except this one. May be good for "coffee" drinkers who don't really like the taste of coffee ( i.e. those who order drinks that are all sugar, milk, chocolate, no coffee). Taste like watered down hot chocolate with a hint of dirt. I wanted this to be good, I really did, in the end ,its not for me. On a side note Cafe Escapes Chai Latte is really good!

Orignally, I was actually disappointed in this. I am not really a coffee drinker. Like the specialty drinks at [...] and my favorite is the Mocha. This has very little coffeee flavor but its still yummy. Better than the hot cocoa I have tried. I will try mixing this with a coffee to see if I like it better as a mocha. I have really enjoyed this box and it is gone now. Gotta get more.

I was originally going to try some hot cocoa k-cups, but after reading less than stellar reviews, I decided to purchase this one. I find the chocolate taste dominates the coffee flavor. I would rather have a bit more coffee taste to it. It tastes pretty watery, and that was brewing it as an 8 oz cup. After drinking this, there was a funny aftertaste in my mouth. I wish it would have been available to try as sample pack, because we now have 21 of these left to drink.

Nice chocolate flavor, but that's about all I could taste. Couldn't taste or even smell a hint of coffee. I also have the hot chocolate, and I couldn't tell much of a difference. It is good and I enjoy the strong chocolate flavor, just a little disappointed in the lack of coffee.

One word: Yum! This tastes exactly like a drink called a "Cocoa Cafe" (1/2 Hot Chocolate 1/2 Coffee) that I often order from my favorite coffee shop for $2.75 a cup! One honest word of caution, this is more of a blend of cocoa and drip coffee and doesn't really resemble an espresso mocha so if that's what you are looking for, you may not like it. As long as you are okay with the drip coffee taste in your mochas, this is the drink for you!

We love this! Really more of a coffee flavored hot chocolate. Just enough coffee flavor to make it good but you don't have to like coffee to love this one. My teenager loves it, but hates coffee. Probably not for you if you want true coffee with a hint of chocolate.

I LOVE this one! I just wish I could find it in the 24pks in stores. This is the perfect blend of hot chocolate and coffee for me. Top it with whip cream and a small drizzle of chocolate syrup to make it taste like an expensive coffee house coffee! I used to only drink coffee occasionally, but now I have a cup every morning.

Brewed this flavor with my single cup keurig brewer. was expecting it to taste like a mocha (espresso & chocolate flavor). The chocolate flavor was there, but it was lacking in the coffee flavor. Added a little milk to cool it off. Overall it tastes like really good hot chocolate, not coffee.

I drink no less than two cups every morning and at least two cups every evening!! I have sampled several K-cups and this is my all time favorite! It is very rich bodied and full of great mocha flavor. It helps me relax...expecially after a stressful day at the office...I would recommend this flavor to EVERYONE! It just does not get any better!

Thumbs down on Cafe Mocha
I had high hopes for this Cafe Mocha but was very disappointed. It tastes like watery hot chocolate, no matter what size cup you brew. Too sweet, too thin, no balance between the coffee and the chocolate. Not worth the money.

Aftertaste is just too bad
As someone who prefers chocolate to coffee, I had high hopes for a mocha. The chocolate flavor is indeed rich and deep, but it's entirely ruined by the aftertaste. You drink it going "gosh what a great chocolate oh yuck that's terrible" (though sometimes you continue, saying "I want to taste that chocolate again oh yuck why did I"). Agree with reviewer who asked 'why did they add the touch of artificial sugar?'

Saying no to the artificial sweetener
This hot chocolate was drinkable at best. I didn't realize sucralose was in the ingredient list. The aftertaste is awful. I gave a cup to my mother without telling her and the first thing she said after tasting it was "This has an artificial sweetener in it.:

Only K cup that has disappointed. Awful taste. After taste is like plastic. I tried just swallowing fast to get rid of it. Too expensive to just throw out. Guess I'll take it to work & offer it to people for free. At least I'll get rid of it.

I never do reviews but I saw someone hated this so I thought I had to say how much I loved it! First let me say I got here because I googled it to make sure it had coffee in it after I had made it and added my creamer I thought I couldn't believe it that's how good it is!! I was reserved about buying it because I had never heard about this brand but I'm so glad I did because I just found my new favorite drink and I never have to go to Starbucks for a mocha again!

depends what you're looking for
This flavor is great for those who want "just a hint of coffee taste". It doesn't really qualify as a full mocha due to the weakness of the coffee flavor, but the rich chocolate still makes it a good drink.

This is just the worst stuff I've ever had. It has a terrible flavor, and then an almost plastic tasting finish. Brewed one cup, now I'm throwing the whole box away. I really love Mocha flavored coffee drinks. But this stuff is terrible!

Strong Artificial Sweetener Taste
The sucralose aftertaste in this drink is very strong. I'd only recommend if you're someone who doesn't mind artificial sweetener taste. I am NOT that person and won't be purchasing this product again.

This stuff is awful. Tastes like cheap hot chcolate and bad coffee. I bought a whole box (my mistake), gave some to my friends & co-workers to try and no one likes it. I can't even give these away.

Won't be re-ordering this one
This version of a cafe mocha has a terrible taste. Instead of a cocoa flavor its more like a licorice flavor. I even added whipped cream thinking that was the missing ingredient but it wasn't it. I'm afraid this one won't be re-ordered.

This is my favorite by far as it is so smooth it doesn't taste like coffee. I love mocha coffee and because this is flavored I don't have to do anything to the coffee but drink it. I have to limit how many I drink because they are 60 calories per cup :)

I saw some bad reviews of this K-Cup, and I don't understand why! Also, I had to make sure there was Coffee and Caffeine in this K-Cup, and so, I had to come back to this site and double check. So, here goes my review. This Cafe Mocha has a noticable amount of the "Hot Chocolate taste," but it also lets you know there is some form of coffee in this cup. The coffee in this K-Cup is called, "Instant Coffee." Instant coffee is the same thing as coffee, it is just treated in a different way. So, there is the normal amount of caffeine in this cup. I wanted to try something different with this Mocha though. I am starting to brew the Mocha, and then I put it in the fridge to cool down. After it is cool, I put ice in a sports bottle or tumbler to make Iced Coffee Mocha! And, it taste soooooo good! I hope you enjoy this review!

This is the best tasting coffee I have had for a while. I pair it with the cafe escapes milk chocolate hot cocoa to make a mocha coffee that tastes almost as good or better than Starbucks for a tiny fraction of the price!!! Absolutely delicious.

Hot Chocolate with Caffeine- I LOVE IT!
I love hot chocolate, but often want something with caffeine in the morning. This is PERFECT! It tastes like hot chocolate but also has caffeine. It is the perfect combination. Delicious with or without creamer. One of my favorite K-Cup flavors...yummy!

I loved it! Keurig needs more options like this and other flavored and specialty coffees that are DECAF! I love coffee but have to drink decaf so my choices are limited. I wish there were more decaf choices!

I just tried this flavor this morning and it was great! It tasted like a mocha to me, it was nice and chocolate-y. The only problem I had was not enough coffee flavor. I love chocolate though so it doesn't bother me too much. Other than that, I love it and can see enjoying it any time. I only wish they would have a white mocha flavor!

I don't love coffee, but I like flavored drinks so this is perfect for me when I want that warm pick-me-up. I have always liked a Cafe Mocha in coffee shops and this isn't exactly the same quality but for an at home drink this will do. I hope they improve it in the future. There is a bit of a chalky aftertaste.

My wife is spoiled on this. She has a cup every morning with fresh whipped cream. Most days she helps in our daughters kindergargen classroom and just loves drinking this to start her day.

I wanted to try this to see if it would rival a fast food chain's hot Mocha drinks to save some money, & it's pretty close! I'm not really a coffee drinker; the fast food chain's Mochas are the only drinks with any coffee in them I'll drink. My husband thinks it's because they're so sweet & chocolatey that I like them; Cafe Escapes' Cafe Mochas are quite similar. I think that's the reason some people are giving these poor reviews: they're sweeter & more chocolatey than regular coffees. If that's something you like, you'll love these drinks; if you prefer regular coffees, this might not be for you. I'd definitely recommend these!

This is a very, very, good tasting product, mind you, I said product. I did not use the word coffee. Here's the but... It tastes like a very good cup of hot chocolate, not mocha coffee. There is almost no flavor of coffee. The mocha is strong and sweet, not weak at all. I brew it in the 8oz setting. I know brewing it in the 6oz setting will not help because since the mocha flavor is strong and sweet, it's only going to become even more sweeter. The formula for the mocha portion is right on. For this to taste like a true mocha coffee, the coffee portion needs to have a stronger and bolder flavor to it.

I buy this product over and over
I love this product. I drink a cup of it every evening. I am trying to diet and the evenings seem to be when I crave something sweet, so I make a cup of this at only 60 calories and it takes care of my craving. I absolutely love the flavor.

I like a good mocha to start my day or in the afternoon to relax. I also like a big cup because I usually only get time for one coffee. So I found that this mocha is more chocolate then mixed. I have found though if I brew one mocha and then the timothy's breakfast blend and mix them together the taste is really close to a perfect cafe mocha.

I have to say I shouldn't have expected too much. I was expecting something more hence the dissappointment. That being said, it does taste more like hot chocolate than a cafe mocha. Plus, I feel I would have gotten the exact same result from some powdered mix you put into hot water, and that would have probably been cheaper.

cafe mocha tastes like hot coffee.

I love the chocolate and coffee taste without it being too thick. It tastes better than hot chocolate because of the pairing with coffee! I definitely recommend this product to anyone who loves both flavors!

When tried by itself as an 8 oz cup Cafe Mocha tasted like hot chocolate with no discernible coffee taste. I then brewed a 12 oz cup, 6 oz Cafe Mocha and 6 oz GM Nantucket Blend. Even there the chocolate overpowered the cup. But the worst part was the Sucralose taste and lingering aftertaste. I'm chucking the rest of the box.

I'm a long-time soda drinker. Not the diet stuff -- the full blown, give-me-some-diabeetus sugary-sweet soda. I used to drink a LOT of it. That said, I really don't like the taste of coffee. I find it to be extremely bitter, often very diluted, and otherwise just kinda nasty. I love the smell of coffee, but the taste... meh. Well, the Cafe Escapes "Cafe Mocha" is excellent. At first I needed creamer and your choice of zero-calorie sweetener; however, as the days at the office passed (read: I ran out of creamer and sweetener), I found I no longer needed to add anything to this k-cup mixture to enjoy it. I can drink the stuff as-is and enjoy it just fine, and now sodas often just taste too sweet for me. I still think coffee tastes horrible, but thankfully the Cafe Mocha tastes as much of chocolate as it does of coffee, and it's a good blend that needs little else, if anything, to enjoy.

I love this with just a little bit of peppermint creamer, better than those high end coffee bar mochas & less money too! This is perfect for a change when you don't want an extreme coffee taste, not a lot of caffeine and overall wonderful.

It tasted like a regular cup of hot chocolate to me. I was looking forward to the coffee/chocolate mix flavor but didn't find it. It's good for those who are looking for caffiene without the coffee taste. And of course, for hot chocolate lovers.

Never was a coffee drinker
Never was a coffee drinker until my first taste of cafe mocha. I now look forward to the rich taste of chocolate with the unique blend of coffee. I enjoy it with a clear conscience. It's low in sugar and even has a gram of fiber. WOW! My only problem is finding it? As soon as it hits the shelves, it's gone. Other non coffee drinkers must have found the delightful pleasure of cafe mocha. I'm a believer

I love cafe mochas from Starbucks, but now that my husband keeps me stocked full of the cafe mocha k-cups, I rarely visit starbucks. They don't have as many calories, carbs, sugars as starbucks, and in my opinion, the taste is even better! I would recommend cafe mocha k-cups to any chocolate coffee lover!

Taste like watery hot chocolate. I tried adding creamer & it made it 10x worse. And it leaves a coffee/chocolate residue in your cup. Leaves a bad, sweet taste in your mouth. Do not waste your money on this stuff. Very, very unpleasant tasting.

not a good chocolate flavor
this is good if you like the cafe escapes dark hot chocolate because it tastes just like it except with coffee added. this chocolate flavor is a terrible, weird, bitter chocolate flavor. dark chocolate is yummy, but not this dark chocolate.

love it...my favorite beverage.
this Cafe Mocha does taste a little more like hot chocolate, but it tastes better than the Milk Chocolate. I'm a chocolate lover so that doesn't bother me. To make it even creamier, I add a cup or so of frothed skim milk. I have it almost every day for lunch.

Great product in general for those of us that don't have a lot of time but still want a great cup of coffee without spending $5.

Tasty, but not my favorite
This is a tasty K-Cup; however, it didn't taste anything like I was expecting. It has a rich hot cocoa flavor with a very tiny hint of coffee. I was expecting more of a traditional cafe mocha taste (my favorite drink to order from a coffee shop). I definitely would recommend it, but just don't buy it expecting to expect a true cafe mocha flavor.

The combination of coffee and hot chocolate sounded good. I read the reviews before buying. Everybody had mixed emotions. It didn't smell good while brewing. After brewing, I stirred it up and tasted it. Yuck. Added half&half, and it still tasted yucky. Now...what to do with the rest of the box?? Don't waste your money.

I purchased this by accident. I actually thought this was Mocha Coffee the variety. I did not realize it was a complete coffee (sugar and creamer included). I tried it straight once and got a splitting headache because of the sucralose. Since I had opened the box I thought I would try again and made a regular coffee and then made the Cafe Mocha and mixed them together. That DID NOT make it any better. I wish I could return the 22 cups I have left. :>(

I will be buying this product again
I love this coffee. It has a rich taste with a combination of chocolate and coffee. I like to drink it in the morning or in the evening for relaxing. This will be a great beverage for those cold winter mornings and evenings.

A tad too sweet, but serviceable.
This isn't a bad mix, it is a on the syrupy and the artificial sweetener sometimes seeps through the taste. But for those who don't want a full cup of coffee, this is a decent blend for them.

I would buy this product again and again
This coffee is excellent. All family members love the taste. Age range from elderly to teenagers. This coffee does not need any sweeteners or creamer. The taste is similar to hot chocolate, but unique.

This is one of my favorite drinks to have in the mornings. Great drink to enjoy in front of the fireplace during those cold winter nights. It is full of mocha flavor so if you are looking for bold, strong coffee flavor this is not it.

You have to shake the Kcup
Love the Cafe Mocha, but the first few were not chocolatey, I figured out you ned to shake it up before putting in the machine to redistribute the choc and coffee evenly, then it's perfect!

This flavor isn't bad per se but not one I will continue to drink. Not much of a coffee flavor. It is VERY sweet and has a STRONG mocha taste. I even put some milk in it to tone it down and still can't finish a whole cup (I've tried 3 times). My husband enjoys it but he is more of a "add cream until you can't taste the coffee" drinker. At least he will finish the box and they won't go to waste.

I almost thought I picked up the wrong box of k-cups. If I wanted hot chocolate, I would have purchased hot chocolate. I am not impressed and a bit upset I spent that much money for something that tastes like hot chocolate.

This was my first time using this flavor with my new machine. I was expecting a stronger coffee flavor, so I added flavor creamer and a spoon of sugar. Wasted a few cups before I realized it was more like hot chocolate. There should be a warning that it is already sweet.

Very disappointed. I was expecting a mocha flavored coffee but got hot chocolate. It's my fault, I should have read the ingredients first. I love coffee black. This has added cream and sweeteners. And let me just say, I couldn't taste the slightest hint of coffee.

I own a retail store and bought this with an employee in mind. I gave it a try today and have to agree with other reviewers... it doesn't give off a coffee taste in the slightest. We actually have the Swiss Miss hot cocoa K-cups here as well and I would say this is a better version of cocoa than Swiss Miss. However, if you are going for the true "Cafe Mocha" coffee flavor you might get at Starbucks or elsewhere... this won't be it at all. Good flavor, just not a coffee flavor.

Not the biggest fan of this one...
I purchased a package of these approximately six months ago. I tried one of the K-cups shortly after purchasing, and was not a fan of how it tasted. It was completely unlike any mocha I have had before. To me, it seemed a little too heavy on the milk and maybe a little too bitter as well. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I would simply recommend to anyone wanting to try this, to try the 3-Pack version before buying a larger box. Save yourself some money, and if you do not like it...you don't have 20+ more just sitting in the cupboard.

I was expecting a coffee blended with mocha. This was more of a hot chocolate drink than coffee, good but not great if you want that splash of coffee flavor. Also, when I used the large cup size it was too watered down tasting. I plan on using the smaller cup setting and adding milk to make it more creamy than watery. I will continue to buy this flavor, but would like to have a flavor that is a true blend of coffee and mocha.

I have to agree with the other reviews that this isn't coffee its going down in my book as hot chocolate. My husband likes it and he hates coffee so..... Its super yummy though and we will continue to buy it as our Hot Chocolate.

I found this very sweet with no detectable coffee flavour. It just tasted like sweet hot chocolate. To use it up I do it in a big mug and run a coffee K cup into the same mug after the Cafe Mocha.

To much cocoa not enough coffee
I read the reviews but was hoping for different results. I did exactly as the package said but it definitely had way to much hot chocolate taste. Hubby agreed. It was also kind of bland. I don't think I'll get this again.

Make sure to brew this on the 6 oz cup setting for the best flavour. Anything more and it's too watery. Very tasty.

Ohhh I am in heaven with this one!!!
Omg this tastes SOOOOO heavenly !! After getting my Keurig K40/K45 Elite Brewer on the 10th of this month, my first kcup coffee was this. OMG the flavor just melts in your mouth!!!!! Keurig and Cafe Escapes have really and truly outdone themselves this time ! Thank you guys for making my 11th birthday truly special and enjoyable!! I love Cafe Escapes and I love the brewers! Even the register lady at Macys where my mom and I went to to buy a keurig brewer here in FL, (I moved my Special Edition Keurig Brewer to our Maryland ranch where our second house is at) she says she loves these brewers too and is always buying them. She says they really are worth the bucks. Im glad too because I am in complete agreement ! You have three very VERY loyal customers, Keurig! :D And I will always be coming back for more Cafe Escapes flavors like this Mocha one. Sooo smooth and creamy. Another thing that truthfully helps is utmost definitely keeping the brewers CLEAN. I notice a lot of complaints from other customers here saying the flavor is not up to par. Maybe they havent tried cleaning their brewers as often, using purified water, filters, ect, so they could get the most flavor out of the kcups? The flavor of this mocha is outstanding ! So I dont know why some people think the flavor isnt satisfying to them. But this flavor works for me and keeping a clean brewer with fresh clean, filtered water, makes a seriously huge difference with kcups! Love it! Will buy more Mocha kcups when I run out.

Great for chocolate lovers
This is one of the K-Cups that I buy on a regular basis. It's my favorite coffee to drink in the morning. It's definitely got a great chocolately taste. My only complaint would be that it almost doesn't even taste like coffee. The coffee taste could do with being a bit stronger.

Good combination of coffee and chocolate
This has a prefect taste of chocolate and coffee. I like a balanced blend for Mocha. This is great! It is a tad weak on the largest cup setting. This is something I want to always have on hand.

I have tried this a couple of times and I just don't like the taste. It is very week and has a strange aftertaste that I can't even discribe. I have tried adding choc to it and vanilla coconut silk but nothing seems to improve the taste of this product. I would not buy this product again.

Addicted! Coffee & Chocolate. Yum!
This is the best of both worlds...a coffee and chocolate mix that actually tastes more like hot chocolate than the hot chocolates do! I prefer it over both the Cafe Escapes milk chocolate and dark chocolate hot cocoa. If you tend to lean toward the coffee aspect, this may fall short. If you lean to the chocolate side, you should try this!

I think that it should be more prominently displayed that there is artificial sweeteners in this Cafe line. I was unaware of the fact, and I am allergic to aspartame. I do not see a link to what artificial sweeteners are in it. I was given this k-cup as a sample.

I couldn't taste any coffee in this. It was a nice, rich cup of hot cocoa, but I couldn't taste any coffee. I think if there had been actual coffee in it, there would have been grounds left in the pod. But there were none. No coffee. Just cocoa.

I don't taste a lot of chocolate, and it has a strong aftertaste. I'm not sure why. It tastes better if I add a little sugar to it, but I feel I should have to do that. I bought a box of it almost a year ago and still have most of it. I won't be buying anymore.

Too much chococate! Wasted my money

This coffee is really good for people sensitive to caffeine like myself. It has very little caffeine in it so if you are looking for a strong coffee you wont find it in this. It taste like chocolate with a touch of a coffee taste. This is the only kind I drink!

WOW! I really like this. It is more of a hot chocolate than a coffee drink, but for me the simplicity and taste is wonderful. I think there is the potental for great variety here. Young adults can enjoy as is, caffein in low, adults can add some "spirit" and enjoy next to the fireplace. I continue to enjoy the wide amount of variety my machine offers...

Sucralose and Instant Coffee = Bad
If you want to use your keurig for something that taste far better than this, and at a lower cost... buy the HEB instant hot chocolate pouches, empty the pouch in your mug, and brew any standard coffee with the keurig into that same mug... mix and enjoy. Much better than this, and just as easy! The Sucralose used in this has a disgusting and un-natural aftertaste that is clearly evident in the flavor. Additionally, they use instant coffee, which will never match the flavor of real coffee or espresso. I would have been able to tolerate the flavor of this if it weren't for the sucralose.

I got this to try, and after drinking I noticed a bitter aftertaste. I checked the ingredients and found that it contains sucralose. It is not labeled as low calorie, so why artificial sweetener.

I have tried all of the Cafe Escapes drinks and this one is, by far, my least favorite. Since it's not labeled as "Hot Cocoa", like two of the other drinks in this brand, I assume this is supposed to be a chocolate/coffee drink. I made it in the smallest cup size, like I do with all of the Cafe Escapes drinks, and it still tasted like watered down hot chocolate. It didn't have any coffee taste at all. There was also a residue left on my tongue and in the bottom of the cup after I was finished. If you're looking for a coffee/chocoalte combination, I wouldn't recommend this product. If you're looking for hot cocoa, you may like this, but I'd still probably look else where.

"Product contains milk"? Couldn't tell it by me. The 12oz drink is watery and the 8oz drink is too sweet and still watery. But the problem is easy to fix. Put about 2oz of milk, coffee crystals and/or powdered cocoa and sugar to taste in coffee cup and have the mocha liquid from the machine mix with contents in the cup.

I am strictly a "coffee" drinker. NOT a flavored coffee of any kind. I received a sample pack of the Cafe Escapes and instead of just throwing it away, I tried this one (Mocha) and the Vanilla. The other two, wouldn't even try as I don't care for Caramel or any kind of Tea. I was "shocked" as to the flavor of this. GREAT tasting, not too strong and definitely not too weak (using the 8 oz setting) and NO HORRIBLE COFFEE AFTER TASTE. Just a little craving of "must have one, maybe 2 more cups. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the two I mentioned. I actually had to order a box of each and will always make sure I never run out.

Going to keep looking for my Cafe' Mocha
When brewing this product, you will see that only water filters out very quickly in the brewing process. That pretty much speaks for the taste. I don't like to have to load-up on a lot of extras to make my coffee choice taste good; that's why it's my coffee of choice. With This cafГ© mocha I need to create a flavor to enjoy it...not the reason I CHOOSE a coffee. I love a great cafГ© mocha so I'll keep looking to find it in a K-cup.

Brewed on medium then added a dash of half/half - smooth and creamy with a delicious mocha flavor, just the right touch of sweetness and none of the bitterness found in the barista made mochas. When the chocolate urge strikes, this is the one I reach for!

If you didn't know this had some coffee in it you wouldn't know. I will have to mix this with a coffee cup to get the true "Mocha" taste. If you want hot chocolate this will do but why pay for this when you can get real hot chocolate.

I first tasted this as part of a free sample box that came with an earlier order. I normally don't go for flavored coffees because they "tease" you with the flavor but lack the smoothness and body needed to do it right for me. I recommend using the middle ten ounce size so it doesn't taste weak. This blend was a great surprise! All the reasons I don't drink flavors in coffee just vanished! The mixture of coffee and chocolate is perfect and I already ordered a box before I was done with my first cup. I will recommend it to anybody looking for a great tasting Cafe Mocha.

I got this is a free sampler, I was really looking forward to a really nice cup, It smelled really good while brewing, It didnt taste bad. Taste was really like a weaker Hot chocolate. I couldnt detect any coffee. I noticed the Spent K-cup was very light, I removed the top, and it was totally clean & empty. This is really nothing more than a powdered cocoa drink. If there is any coffee in it, it would be an instant type coffee, Certainly no real coffee grinds. I sure wouldnt pay for this.

I wish they had an actual coffee mocha. This is a powder not a ground coffee. I have experimented with this and have found that combining one of the mocha's brewed with another strong coffee like jet fuel or Starbucks does make a nice mocha. I set them both on small cup.

Awesome Cafe Mocha flavour
After reading the reviews of this product I was a little hesitant to purchase, am I ever glad I did!! This is a fabulous cafe mocha that is well balanced. Both the chocolate and coffee flavours come through. Some reviewers found it bitter or not sweet enough. I found it to be perfect. Regular hot chocolates (and lattes and cappuccinos) are way too sweet for me, and this was perfect. I tried three other Cafe Escapes flavoured drinks and didn't like them, but this one is great!

I love my mochas, but not this
I love mixing hot chocolate with my coffee, so I figured this would be an awesome alternative. This Mocha does not have the coffee taste I like. It tastes like hot chocolate with a drip or two of coffee. I add coffee to this mocha to make it how I like.

I love this coffee/cocoa mixture. Honestly after trying this - I don't want my other Kuering coffees anymore. I reach for the CafГ© Mocha every time!

I bought this product for my office because I drank all of the milk chocolate hot chocolate K-cups. The store was out of the hot chocolate and since I am a coffee fanatic, I thought I would try the Cafe Mocha. Was it a hit! My boss loves it, he says it is like dessert in a cup.

There is a deffinite artifical flavour. I add sugar to round out the flavour. At first I didn't like it at all but it has grown on me, but I don't think I would purchase it again.

I was given a couple K-cups of the CafГ© Escapes CafГ© Mocha, and just brewed the first. Immediately, I detected Splenda/Sucralose. Yuch! I know that for many people, it is the artificial sweetened of choice, but I absolutely despise this stuff. To me, it tastes like bleach or flea-and-tick medicine, or something similarly toxic. I wish that manufacturers would stop hiding the fact their low calorie counts are the result of adding artificial sweeteners. I know it's listed in the ingredients, but I've missed it on more than one occasion in my label-reading.

Tastes good, and a good low caffeine afternoon drink. But the ingredients list shows sugar first, along with other sweeteners. Not a diet food, and probably not good for those who are avoiding processed foods.

The product has a great mocha taste but that's about it. I could really taste the sweetener that was used in it (sort of tasted like splenda) which I didn't like. I also didn't like that it was a powder form so I could only brew the cup once. Although I still brewed it again and added some extra water to my cup to give it a more balanced flavor. It just wasn't what I was expecting or hoping for. There's hardly a coffee taste as well.

I was excited to try my CafГ© Mocha for the first time. I t has a good flavor but something is missing. I'm sure a firend or someone out there will like this so I am going to recommend but it's just not for me.

This k-cup seemed perfect for me. I love flavored coffee, latte's, and cappuccino's. I figured this would be delicious. Boy was I wrong!! YUCK! Has a horrible artificial flavor. Neither rich or creamy as described. Coffee flavor is non existent. It tastes like bad hot cocoa. It's worse than anything you'd ever get at a gas station! Don't bother buying this. What a waste of money!!

This is the best mocha flavored coffee I tried, and I've tried them all in search of a good one! Added bonus was that they had the k-cups to make brewing it simpler. Only one suggestion would be to make it also in decaf for us night owls.

I bought a keurig for college and tried it out today. I used the cafe mocha and was not disappointed. It was very good and I did not need to add and cream or sugar. The only thing that I did not like is it left chocolate in the bottom of my mug. But overall I recommend this product.

I usually don't touch anything with coffee in it unless it is loaded with chocolate, caramel & ice, topped with a little cool whip on top, preferably a frozen drink of some kind. But I absolutely LOVE this blend of hot chocolate & coffee. It's perfect for someone like me who would normally not drink anything with coffee in it. The only con that I have, is some of the chocolate will settle at the bottom of the cup if I don't drink it fast enough & have a powdery aftertaste to it. But, that's only if I let it sit to long & at room temperature.

Not a coffee lover, so I flavor most with creamers. This is right up my alley. I use the medium cup setting and I do add a couple of ounces of almond milk just to cool it down a bit.

Wake me up with a Cafe Mocha, Just can't get enough of that delicious flavor blend! I even add a couple ice cubes on warmer days for an iced coffee. Enjoy this beverage all year long.

I am not a "real" coffee drinker, so is what I like, half hot cocoa and half coffee, just like I used to make in college. But... I think its a little heavy on the hot cocoa and needs more coffee so it could be more of a coffee drink.

MILK LEFT AFTER A BOWL OF COCOA PUFFS!
I let that baby drip and I throw it over ice. It tastes like the milk left in the bowl after a HUGE bowl of Cocoa Puffs. Some of my coworkers have argued for a greater likeness to that of Cocoa Krispies, but they crazy. Stuff tastes like Cocoa Puffs. This is the drink of the Gods. Save yourself and taste the forbidden delight. You might even cry remembering your childhood, before you needed coffee in your life.

Tastes just like hot chocolate, didn't need to add sugar or creamer. Only con would be not enough caffeine for 1st morning cup...as I think it's more hot chocolate than coffee, which is fine by me, as I'm not a coffee drinker unless it is doctored up with chocolate! :-)

I was willing to take a risk because I love mocha flavor and love Cafe Escape products. I knew at the first taste it was too sweet to be just coffee and favoring. I'm so disappointed! PLEASE note on your packaging when something contains sugar.

BETTER TO STICK WITH OTHER COCOA
I first got this when I started using my Keurig. I really like hot chocolate, so I thought I'd get some in addition to the coffee that I get. The flavor is barely chocolaty, it's weak/watery AND the most powerful flavor in the cup is saccharine or aspartame or some other fake sweetener. I have most of a box left that I guess I'll throw out because it's so bad I don't want to finish it. In the cupboard I have some regular cocoa I got at the store. Cheaper and tastes MUCH better. Big disappointment, Keurig.

Cafe Mocha by Cafe Escapes
I use 10oz selection of water when brewing this. It's great! Not too sweet, but I would like to see the same product made with sugar substitute. Giant food stores use to carry this, now the spot shows discontinued product. I really am addictive to this product. So I figured I would just start ordering online.

I first use a Columbian blend, and use the smallest setting, so the coffee is strong, as a base. I then add my CafГ© Mocha. It makes this chocolate coffee so much more flavorful and stronger if you need stronger coffee. I will sometimes use Cinnamon Pastry as a base. Yum! This CafГ© Mocha is the best! A must have in my monthly order. Hard to find anywhere else. If you enjoy chocolate coffee, this one is it! I have tried many others, and they are just don't cut it.

My favorite K-Cup out there
I am a huge fan of iced coffee - even when it's cold outside. I generally love this one because it tastes amazing on ice cubes with just a ta of milk/almond milk/half & half. There is no need to add any sweetener to it because it tastes delicious as is. My absolute favorite K-Cup!!!

Perfect mix of Mocha and Coffee
I ordered this and tried this product today 12/31/15. It is the perfect combination of Mocha and Coffee. I would say the balance is at 63% Mocha and 47% coffee. I would recommend.

Will Definitely Be In Every Order!
This is one of my favorites! This delicious coffee doesn't need any sweetener - perfect balance of sweet and coffee without tasting like it had a half cup of sugar dumped into it. Good quality coffee that isn't overly caffeinated, but enough to feel a little midafternoon pick-me-up. Will definitely be keeping this one in stock.

nice combo of coffee and chocolate.
I really enjoy this for a nice relaxing drink any time of the day. Just enough chocolate flavor. Would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to keep stirring it. The chocolate kind of settles at the bottom of the cup.

I absolutely love this stuff! I have a cup every morning, and I really get cranky if I don't have it. We actually took this along on vacation - with a small individual Keurig that we got from the awards catalog. It is low calorie - around 60 calories - and delicious. Just remember to stir it.

Excellent Coffee! Outstanding Customer Care teams and we just LOVE LOVE LOVE our Keurigs I always am upgrading mine and even though I do that I Pass along "my hand me downs" LOL And friends and family are just happy to have one. :) I think this my 6 th coffee maker not quite sure lol. At what point do I recieve one "on the house" hahahahaha. Really kidding but we should get some additional perks for being so loyal. I can only buy when on special cause I am on a very tight disability budget so I only buy coffee from you and Coffee makers from you and QVC on easy payments so that I can enjoy my treats. This is my new favorite along with the Chai Latte! I love that it's one step coffee - I don't have to add anything to it once it's brewed. And it's delicious! Tastes just like the coffee I used to make myself during Christmas season with hot chocolate mix and coffee combined.

For a true mocha lover this was a huge disappointment. I was so excited to get this pack that immediatly upon delivery, I tried one. It tastes like a watered down hot chocolate. Nothing about it tasted like coffee. It was disgusting.

I really like the flavor but when I tasted the first one, I wasn't sure if there was coffee in it at all. I've tried some chocolate coffees that you can barely taste a hint of chocolate but this is more hot chocolate than coffee. Again, it;s really good just not a "wake you up" drink!

This product isn't marked as "light" or "diet", but contains sucralose. I know, I know, 'Caveat emptor'. Sucralose is listed on the ingredients. However, nothing on the packaging prompted me to check as it looks like normal food. Keurig, please change the packing to give some warning for those of us who can taste sucralose and know how gross it really is. :( :( :(

I LOVE THE SMOOTH FLAVOR OF THE BLENDED COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE. NOT TO SWEET AND NOT BITTER AT ALL.

This is my favorite of all of the k-cups and I drink one every morning. I think it's the perfect balance of more chocolate than coffee flavor. I especially like it that milk and sweetener are already added, so it's push the button and off I go. I have also found that it makes a wonderful iced drink, too! Just brew and pour over ice cubes!

Tastes like mediocre hot chocolate with a bit of instant coffee thrown in. Better to buy the real hot chocolate and mix it with real coffee.

I buy this all the time' this is very tasty.

Cafe Mocha is my favorite coffee. I wish it were calorie free- - which it is not. Consequently it is my "dessert" after dinner. The rich chocolate flavor mixed with a bit of coffee and milk makes a delicious evening treat.

Hot Chocolate combined with a hint of coffee. I found this to be the perfect finish after meals to stop overeating. The first sip had a slight aftertaste from the sweetener, but this isn't as noticeable with the 10 oz setting and not at all after the second sip.

We drink this a lot during the holidays. We also add different flavor syrups (caramel, red raspberry, butter toffee) and it's like drinking candy. We tried with different mochas but Cafe Escapes Cafe Mocha is one that tastes the best!
