Murphy Oil Soap Wood Cleaner

Just recently purchased a wood table from an antique shop. My wife applied Murphys oil and bam. The 60.00 dollar table is now 200.00. What an amazing change to the wood.

I am very familiar with Murphy Oil Soap; my mother used it for years, so of course that was what I used in my home.  They have been around for a long time and people know their name and products are good.
I got a bottle of Murphy Oil Soap Clean & Shine Multi-Use to do some spring cleaning.  Have lived in my apartment for almost 2 years and had not really cleaned my kitchen cabinets.  I started with the cabinet over the stove, light spray on the rag and then I cleaned up and down but could not really see any difference.  I checked the rag and I could see it getting darker so I cleaned that cabinet again.  WOW I could see the difference in the cabinets.  It had a nice shine and there was no sticky residue.  There is a slight orange scent that lingers in the air for a little bit.   I have cleaned all of my kitchen cabinets and they look wonderful.  
I decided to try it on an old dresser that I just bought.  I was going to paint this dresser but not now it looks so good with the wood finish.
I would and have told my family how great this Murphy Oil Soap Clean & Shine is!

We own a condo we rent out on the Gulf, I had trouble finding something that helps clean and keeps my furniture shiny. This does both, it is easy to use and smells wonderful!! I received this product for review purposes.

This cleaner is the best cleaner I've used in some time.  I don't remember a cleaner that's every cleaned so well, smelled so good and left my home looking and smelling like new.  I've been using it on everything from my cabinets to my china cabinets and will continue to use it where able.  I've even used it to clean my bathroom and kitchen sinks.  I get a clean and shine without a greasy build up.

I tried the "Murphy Clean and Shine Orange Oil Spray"and started in the kitchen first. I sprayed a little bit onto a rag and used it on the cabinet door. There was a lot of grime and wax build-up on the top of the door. I am extremely happy that this spray was working on wood surfaces. No more wax build-up. A nice citrus scent left was left behind. My mother was impressed with how well it worked on wood surfaces.
Secondly, I used this spray on a railing and railing knob and it worked great! I did notice a lot of shine came back afterwards. **I received this product for FREE to review**

I have never tried any Murphy Products and let me tell you this stuff is amazing! I used it on my wooden kitchen table and it made it shine like new! It did not leave my table sticky at all nor any residue.I love it is made 98% Naturally from plant based! The smell is amazing. If your looking for a great cleaning product for wood furniture this is absolutely the one. We love it and I can say we are now a fan of your products and will spread the word to all our family and friends.

Murphy Oil Soap is a brand that has been on my radar for a few years, but this is the first time I have ever tried their Orange Oil Spray Clean & Shine Multi-Use Wood Cleaner. I can easily clean multiple surfaces in my home without triggering my allergies in the process since it's derived from gentle ingredients. A few spritzes of the Orange Oil Spray Clean & Shine Multi-Use Wood Cleaner dissolves grime, dirt, wax build-up, and dust with effortless ease. The light orange scent is pleasant to the senses since it's not overpowering in the least. I now want to run around and clean everything in sight!

I used the spray in place of my usual wood cleaner and was amazed at the difference. The Murphy's Oil Spray was easy to apply, wiped off cleanly and left no residue.  The lovely smell was an added bonus! All of the wood surfaces I cleaned with this spray looked great - just like when new. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has wood surfaces such as cabinets, floors, furniture. I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this product and will be using it going forward.

I love how easy this product is to use. And how it cuts through old kitchen grime on cabinet doors and knobs even in cooking areas of my kitchen.
The only thing I don't care for is it doesn't work on glass- but I'm ok with that as it is clearly a wood cleaner!

I was surprised to find out how much cleaner  my closets and wood floor are after using murphys oil soap orange scented spray.   I thought everything was clean here until i started spraying and wiping my wooden closets.  Talk about shine and the wonderful feel of wiping my hand across them and to feel them  slide across the surface can not be matched by any other priduct i have tried.

I use this product on all my wood furniture. I love how it cleans and moisturizes the wood.

I love using this orange oil spray in my home. I have hardwood floors throughout and new custom butcher block countertops and this product does a great job with quick clean ups, just spray and wipe clean. It has a light scent that is refreshing. I find it hard to find safe cleaning products to use in my home for wood products that won't damage the finish But this product delivers and is non-greasy. I have a 2 year old and having something for quick and fast clean ups is very important. This product delivers and i would recommend to everyone.

From the very first spray, I knew I'd be happy. The scent IMMEDIATELY gave my kitchen and dining area a BURST of fresh air. The scent is divine. As I sprayed and mopped each section, it saturated quite nicely per area. The floor had an immediate shine and dried faster than I expected. I wish the shine would have been a bit 'stronger'. However; rest assured, there is no 'dull effect' afterwards. I was pleased overall. This product will be used throughout my home, as my chair legs, furniture and sofas, can use a bit of sprucing. My main focus was my kitchen and dining room floors, due to high traffic and a puppy who loves playing in it. So, I give it 4-4.5 stars out of 5, simply because the shine isn't as strong as I like. I've always used Murphy's Original formula, so when I got this new-fangled operative with orange oil and spray function, I was a little hesitant to move into the 21st century. But, after I used it on my Victorian wood doors and they gleamed brightly, felt smooth to the touch, with no build-up and there was no strong lingering smell throughout my house, I was converted. Everyone who came over noticed the difference right away. A few people tried to "borrow" my Murphy's Oil Soap!

I USED  THIS ON  THE   WOOD  CABINETS  AND THEY ARE OLDER  AND BEEN IN THE HOME FOR AT LEAST  20 OR MORE  YEARS  THEY  WERE  CLEAN  AND THEN I PUT THE    MURPHY   SOAP ON  THEM AND  THE FLOOR  AND THEY  LIGHTED  UP  THE PIC ARE  BE FORE  AND AFTER

I was sent a bottle of Murphy Oil Soap Clean & Shine Multi-Use Cleaner to try in exchange for my review.

I tried the product on several wood surfaces in my home. Overall, the results were great!
The first surface was a table where I often use my computer mouse without a mouse pad, so there was a build-up of grime. The Clean & Shine Cleaner removed the grime with a little pressure. The surface was not sticky after being cleaned.
The second surface was the big knob at the end of our wooden banister, where everyone grabs as they go up & down stairs. This had more of a build-up of grime and took a few more applications & more elbow grease, but  the Clean & Shine Cleaner eventually removed the dirt & that part of the banister looks like new.
The third surface was the bottom half of our bathroom door which somehow had a multitude of toothpaste splatters. These came off quite easily with the Clean & Shine Cleaner.
Lastly I noticed spots on the front of a kitchen drawer - I cleaned half with the Clean & Shine Cleaner & the spots were not completely removed but were not as noticeable.

Complete waste of arm movement and energy.  Used it on my cabinets and did a half & half.  8 minutes later it dried to the dullest finish I've ever seen and it's tacky.  I have not yet purchased a Murphy's product I like.

I love this soap. It smells lovely and cleans well.

my sons actually cleaned their bathroom/bedrooms without a fuss.

I received Murphy Oil Soap to try and review for free. I used it on my wood and i want to tell you, this is the best product I have found for cleaning wood in my home. It smells like oranges, and truly smells good, not overpowering or like a cleaning product. It smells natural. It cleaned my wood to look shiny and beautiful. I have an older wooden side table that has seen better days and it brightened it up and removed the stains. It also does not feel oily or sticky. The surface is smooth and I can tell it's clean.

We used the product primarily for cleaning and dusting. And also when we couldn't find our Windex we would substitute Murphy's in its place and in many cases, the Murphy's cleaned better than the windex and left a better orange aroma. We found we were using Murphy's more and more and Windex less and less because Murphy's seemed to clean better. Excellent for cleaning phones which get dirty and smudged. Also very helpful in keeping the dust off the piano, which attracts dust quickly, as well as bookshelves, lamps, and furniture like our giant entertainment center. Dust seemed to accumulate less quickly when we used Murphy's as opposed to other products. As pet owners, we prefer products made of more natural ingredients in case we spill something and Murphy's is 98% natural ingredients. Very easy to use. Very helpful. No known negatives that we noticed other than Murphy's disappears too quickly because it's that's good, useful and helpful. Very impressed with the product! Highly recommend it with no reservations. I don't understand how to get the product to shine on my  kitchen cabinets    I have to walk and hope to catch the light on my cabinets to see if there's any shining it doesn't look any different than the cabinet I did not clean.   It does feel smoother and like I got some of the fingerprint grime off. But I've done two rounds around the handles and it's not quite taken all the residue off yet. I would not say my cabinets were overly dirty so I would've expected it to work a little better.

Hello, My wife used this on our piano to clean and freshen the finish but it removed the finish entirely!!!  She purchased this product specifically because she thought it would be safe!  Now we are left with a good size spot on our piano that will need to be refinished!!!  :(
