I love this product. I haven't had a problem with it falling off the side of the toilet and into the bowl. I tried it towards the back of the bowl and the fit was not so great. But, then I tried it towards the front and it stays just fine! After cleaning the bowl and attaching it, I've been purposely keeping an eye on both bathrooms (one is used more than the other) and it keeps the toilets clean. I'm actually amazed HOW clean, they've been there for going on a month and all I have to do is clean the outside of the bowl, the inside is fine and the bathroom smells great. I just bought another package so I'll have one the present ones are used up. And I'll buy it again! Don't know why others are having so many problems.

It would be great if Lysol could come up with an antibacterial toilet cleaner that can be dispensed in the same way as the Scrubbing Bubbles Gel discs. Even though I like the gel discs, it would be great to have the comfort of Lysol clean and disinfecting with each flush.
While I didn't experience any adverse problems with the product such as those listed in other reviews (I could see how losing the product in the toilet bowl would be a problem), the product didn't seem to clean or deodorize well after the first couple of days. It is also unsightly.

I have used this product in all three baths for several months. It does not keep toilet bowls clean. I have positioned it in different areas to catch the water flow, and it does not help. These are newer low water capacity toilets, is this why? I used your Lysol Gel Automatic Cleaner/Freshener and ALWAYS had clean bowls. Why did you stop making it??

I bought this product hoping it would help with keeping hard water stains out of the toilet. It lasted only 9 days, well below the anticipated time. I have tried moving it around to different positions and nothing has seemed to work. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with Lysol over its preformance. It appears others have had similar experiences and nothing has been done to correct it.

This new product by Lysol is Great ! the fragrance is so nice ,you do not have to use a spray, the product is very simple to use and IT WORKS! Your potty stays clean much longer with this product, I have tried it for several months and now it's all I buy ,please try it , YOU will glad you did, I use it at home and in my business, Sincerely Nails2u!

THE LYSOL NAME MEANS SOMETHING TO ME. THAT IS WHY I BOUGHT THIS ITEM. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS PRODUCT. IT NEEDS TO HAVE A MUCH STRONGER SMELL. YOU REALLY MISSED THE MARK ON THIS ONE LYSOL.

Bring back the old under the rim cleaners
What happened to the cleaners with bleach that you clip under the rim? I can't find them anywhere. These new cleaners are terrible. They don't do a good job and after a while they fuse themselves to the bowl.

3in 1 toilet claner can't find it
I am a long time lysol customer! My whole house is cleaned my your products. I need your help to find your automatic toilet bowl cleaner 3in1 toilet cleaner! I have tried your lysol complete it does not work on my bowl. My toilet would sparkel it was so clean! I need to find out were i can find 3in1 toilet cleaner!!!!!!! Please HELP! Thank you

This stuff really works,great! You can actually see the soap as you flush cleaning,and what most surprised me was it last a long time,even with two children who flush constantly! ;) Anything,that will keep it clean and fresh, and for sure make my life a bit easier.

The fragrance is nice, and plenty adequate despite some other reviews. Bowl stays clean between changes - problem is I have to change it after only 10 days - there are only TWO people in my household!

Doesn't fit well - doesn't last well
The plastic clip, besides just looking very cheap, doesn't fit the bowl rim well. On two of our toilets, 1/2 of the tab won't even get in the flush stream no matter how I move it around. On the 3rd toilet, it hit all the cleaning tab but it only lasted about 2 weeks. This is just a very disappointing product. Unfortunately, I bought an 8 pack of these because I trusted the Lysol brand. I guess I'll just play shuffle toilet till they are gone but afterwards, I'll never purchase again.

When you have a great product (round in shape with the blue swirl that hangs on its own special hanger) why in the world would you change it? My daughter and I take care of 5 condos during the summer. We had them all using the blue swirl toilet bowl hangers in addition to our own. All had 2 toilets except for two which had 3.
You can't buy the blue swirls anywhere. They had a great clean smell and really worked.

I like this product. This really keeps the toilet bowl clean. I do think that they are expensive though. They also do not last as long as I would think for the price. If these were cheaper they would be the best deal out there. I give this product 5 stars for how well it works but a 2 on value. I will just clean my toilet more by hand to save a few bucks. (lower the price Lysol and more people would buy this more often!)

This product does what it says it will, BUT it leaves too quickly.
The tablet melts day by day, until nearly half of it slids down into the water to be flushed away. There is no way to re-connect the tablet to the holder, so you lose half it's use. Not good. Joan

worth my money..... smells fresh , last longer than a product i was buying of yours so I'm still a loyal lysol fan, just a different product. and it has less plastic so easy to recycle.

I thought this was going to be a waste of money, but tried it anyway.. Hats off Lysol.. I have very hard water and I hardly even have to scrub my toilets anymore.
What a difference, it has cut the cleaning part down alot. Keep making them,& i will buy them. I used to use the Toilet duck, but cant find them anywhere anymore, so this will a great replacement product. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seemed to be working great after I put it in the toilet tank but then 2 days later I noticed that the water was not slightly blue. So I looked in the tank and it was completely gone. Just the plastic holder was left. This happened in 2 toilets that I put it in. We have hard water but I would think that would make it dissolve slower.

Not really seeing the cleaning effect. Water stains are still appearing. Plastic clip doesn't fit the bowl but as long as it hold it in place I suppose that's no biggie. Instructions say to place under spot where water flow is the greatest but how does that help if it water flows straight down? Sure does make the toilet area smell good when you flush though. Promises to clean and give off a pleasant smell so it only does half the job so it only gets half the rating.

not bad but needs some improvement
I like the smell of the no mess cleaner very easy to use and it dose keep the bowl clean. I have bought other types and brands in the past none lived up to there hype on the packaging. What really caught my eye was the package said it will last up to 8 weeks.Let me explain that I live alone and work a full time job. So it is not like my toilet gets flushed more than 4 times a day if that. So I jotted down the date I put it in and was hoping I would get at least close to the 2 month mark It only lasted 32 days not the 60 they promised. Not sure if I will buy again we will see how the rest of them last...I would recommend this product but it would also have a disclaimer saying it wont last as long as they advertise.

I've been using these for quite a while, even back when they were hard to find, and have loved them...until recently. Now I can find them but am becoming frustrated. 2 of the last 4 I've used have slipped off the holder & disappeared when they were less than 1/2 used. Disappointing! I'll see how the next few go to see if I'll continue using them.

I will never buy this product again. Had it hanging in the toilet for a week before it fell in. Hanger and all went down the drain. Had to tear apart the pipes to get it out because it clogged the toilet.

We moved into a new (to us) house recently. The master bathroom toilet was stained from sitting for a while. (Our house was a foreclosure that a company bought and fixed up, so it was empty for a while.) I've scrubbed and scrubbed but couldn't get the stains out. I bought these more for the smell and to clean in between cleanings. I noticed the side that it was clipped on is now sparkling white compared to the other side! I switched it over to the other side, but it ran out so I'm off to the store for more! I will make sure to tell my friends about how well it cleaned my toilet!

Last package of two fell off the plastic holder before within a week of being placed in the toilet bowl. New package, first one did the same thing. Like the fragrance and the way they work, just wish the cake would remain on the plastic holder until dissolved. Not sure I am going to buy a third package. Since Lysol has my email address, maybe they will mail me a coupon for a free package or two. I like them, but can't afford to waste half of them.

I had the product less than 1 week and it fell off the side and was flushed down the toilet.
The plumber had to remove the toilet to get to the plastic piece that failed to stay on the side.
Very low cost, very weak performance.
I would not recommend nor purchase this product again.

Seems to be a common issue with the product(from other reviews), Whole unit fell off of rim of toilet and got flushed into pipes clogging up plumbing for the whole house. I paid over $200, because it was a Sunday evening, for a drain cleaner to come out and snake my home's main line leading to road before we could take showers or just simply use any of our water. The product smells amazing just wish it was designed better. It appears to be only designed for narrow rimmed toilets. I have been buying and using Lysol products for over twenty years and will continue to use their products, just not this one! A little compensation wouldn't hurt - coupons or free products, anything that showed some sort of appreciation for supporting their product and a sign of good faith on improving a poor product.

Came off toilet clogged pipes
Just as others have said in their reviews. I had this product on my toilet and it came off and the plastic piece has clogged my toilet pipes. Huge disappointment with this product. They should be taking this off the market and issuing refunds and paying for people's toilets/pipes to be unclogged due to their poor product design.

Why did you replace the best product you had with the worst
The previous Lysol Cling clip on Gel with a plastic cage and inserted tablet worked GREAT! Used it for years. Now this substitute is TERRIBLE. Won't buy again. Can you bring back the product that actually works?

Does this product fit onto ANYONE'S potty?? Weirdest clip ever... I just bought these today and *tried to* install one. As it dangled precariously on the edge of my potty, I thought, "Wouldn't it be bad if it fell off after a flush??" Then I came to this site to see if there were some kind of special instructions for correct clipping. Well, after reading the reviews - I'm tossing these things! A wasted $3.00 is better than wasted $$$ on a plumber to remove them!

If you want it to clog your toilet..
Wish I had seen the reviews also before buying. Just had it fall off yesterday, now we are waiting for the plumber to come out. Luckily ours only charges $150 on the weekend. Lysol really needs to read these reviews and either take this product off the market or refund us the amount we had to fork out for repairs.

This product clogged my toilet
This product fell off and clogged my toilet. I didn't notice it fell off until I noticed it missing and the toilet clogged. The plumber snaked the drain and bits of the plastic from the cleaner were pulled up.

This product was very disappointing
I purchased the Lavender Fields toilet bowl cleaner on Thursday March 20 and put it in my tank on Saturday and was very disappointed to find out that it did not even last a week and it surely did not clean the toilet. The packet stated it should last for 8 weeks.

First off i would like to say i usually love lysol products but this time around it was quite the opposite. I bought the lemon to freshen up the smell in our bathroom. I followed the directions, putting it on the side of the toilet bowl where water flows best and made sure it was firmly in place. Everytime the toilet was used i would check on it to make sure it was in place. Then one day i noticed that one was missing from the toilet bowl and looked everyone and asked everyone and no one knew what had happened. So i kept a close eye on the other one hoping that the other had not gotten sucked down. The soap was pretty small on the remaining one when my daughter runs in saying that she flushed the toilet and heard a noice to see that the plastic part had been sucked down the toilet. THAT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN SHOULD IT? Now i am so worried that this product is going to cost me thousands in repairs .... I do not know anything about the pipe system of toilets. Is there anything you can tell me about this?

for as long as i've been living independently, i have always chose lysol products for my bathroom. this is the first and only product by lysol that has fallen way short of its expectation. since the price was reasonable i tried it.
first impression, the lavender scent was INTENSE, it felt like it just punched me in the face. ok, i figured, that must be ok if it the product was to last a while.
for the 3 weeks it was in my bathroom, the scent stayed strong. this could be a good thing if you don't mind having your olfactory sense being assaulted. the other thing i noticed, as i was understand this product was to help keep the toilet bowl clean, that my toliet getting dirty
was i wrong to assume this product was supposed to keep my toilet clean? and that i had mistaken it for an air freshener?

Bought this product for the first time today. First thing I noticed is that the fragrance is very strong. Then within just a few hours of clamping it onto my toilet, my friend noticed it wasn't on the toilet anymore and now the toilet is clogged. I've tried using a hanger and can't retrieve it. If I have to call a plumber out I' m not gonna be happy.

Purchased this product a few weeks ago, all was well until yesterday. The plastic holder fell in the toilet bowl and now our toilet is broken. Tried using an industrial plunger to clear the clog but no luck. This is very upsetting as it seems we will need to call a plumber which will result in us spending hundreds of dollars..... NOT GOOD!

Always happy with Lysol products but not this one.
After 2 days the product fell into the toilet during a flush and clogged it. Had to call a plumber to retrieve the pieces. Product was flimsy and not worth the cost of the plumber.

Have been using the product for a while, and all was fine until today when the entire cleaner unit (with plastic holder) must have somehow come loose and flushed down the toilet. Tried using an industrial plunger to remove blockage, but no luck. Call to a plumber will now be the only (and costly) option. Only now realizing many others have had the same problem. NOT pleased.

Wish I read the reviews before purchasing this product. Within a week the entire unit disappeared down the toilet and clogged my toilet. Plunger won't work. It's 10:40 pm on a Friday night and I have no working bathroom. Thanks a lot.

NO MESS ??? Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Purchased the (4) pack or (8) individual cleaners at Costco, Westbury, Long Island for a reduced sale price of about $7 and change. Installed one as directed placing it in line with the maximum flush flow. No problems by it's falling into the bowl, as yet. Secured it's position with a small piece of duck tape hiddened and covered under the toilet seat. Had a similar problem, years ago with the old fahioned toilet deodorant crystal on a wire holder. Being handy, it required removal of the toilet bowl to gain access to where it finally was lodged.My main complaint is it's appearance hanging on the side of my white ceramic toilet bowl. After positioning it for maximum water contact upon flushing, there accumulates over time a stagnant residue of blue dried drippage flowing from the blue cleansing disk to water's edge in the bowl. Certainly not my idea of "NO MESS" as advertised on the front of the package, especially from a past household trusted name like 'Lysol'!

After reading all of these negative reviews, that I am not entirely convinced aren't spam, I felt compelled to leave a review of my positive experience! I have been using these for over a year, and my mom for years. We have had NO problems with them falling off and clogging the toilet, especially the whole unit. If you secure it correctly on the bowl there is literally no way for the whole thing to fall into the toilet. I will admit towards the end of its life the remaining like 1.5 inch - 2 inch chunk might fall into the bowl, but it dissolves quickly enough that it is not a problem. These contraptions keep my toilets clean and fresh smelling between cleanings and keep my whole bathroom fresh as well. Great product!!

Works great, even in a house full of kids!
I was looking for something to keep my toilet bowl cleaner in between deep cleaning, I have 2 young boys and their aim is sometimes well most times, not great. After reading the other reviews, I am quite surprised that so many people have had trouble with this product falling in the toilet and being flushed. My boys are 3 and 5, the seat on our toilet us lifted ALOT and we have not had an issue. We have been using this product for 3 months or more.

This product does nothing despite placing it in the correct position for "maximum water flow". My toilet looks like I haven't cleaned it the entire time I've had the clip-on in place. I'm not bothering using the second one in the package, I'll just clean the toilet with aw and and gel cleaner like before. Also, the place where the disk rests is all gunky.

Terrified, the unit just went down the toilet
Not terribly effective and today the whole unit somehow just went down the toilet! Just read a bunch of reviews that says it went down the toilet and then clogged, tried plunging to no avail. Not sure exactly what to do, probably going to call a plumber...

PLEASE READ THIS WARNING...I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT!!!! hanger slipped off and clogged the toilet...going to have to call plumber. After reading other review this is not a isolated incident! And I can't believe it has not been addressed by lysol already. This 3 dollar products in the long run is going to cost me hundreds to fix and again from the reviews the same has happened to numerous others costing them hundreds too. Makes me wonder why lysol still has this product on market if it is costing consumers all this time, money and aggravation!

FINALLY it's clean! (POSITIVE REVIEW)
I live in an apartment built in the late 1800s, so we have hard water and lots of mineral deposits. My landlord put in a new low-flow toilet when he re-did the bathroom and nothing I tried would get it clean. (Scrubbing Bubbles, 409, CLR, straight Clorox bleach in the bowl... Nothing.) But, I've had the Lysol unit in place for 24 hours and it's finally clean! I haven't had a problem with it staying in place, or with it not cleaning because of the low water flow, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way. FWIW, I also didn't completely unwind the plastic hook to keep it on the bowl and it has been secure even without the seat down all the time. Good luck, everyone! This has been great for me.

Gave this a try in our 5 bathrooms. It dropped into the toilet when my husband lifted the seat in the night and blocked the toilet drain. I had to fish it out by hand!! Needs a better hold on clamp.

like product, got one stuck in toilet
I like the product, unfortunately got one stuck in toilet at home had to unbolt the toilet take it on the front lawn and blast it with hose to get it out. I did not want to risk pushing that plastic piece back into the pipes. We still use them at work but with kids I didn't want to chance one of them knocking that plastic hanger off and back into another toilet. Also is this thing supposed to dissolve, at work they toss them out even though it has not dissolved?

Freshens but doesn't clean
This product does make your bathroom and toilit smell nice but it doesn't keep the toilet bowl clean, I have had mine in for just over two weeks and both of my toilets are getting a grime ring around the water line like usual

Everytime i use this product about after 2-3 weeks it falls off into my toilet bowl which is about 1/2 the product. These things are very expensive and i end up losing half of it. why cant they put the product in a container like others brands do, even the ones at the dollar store are placed in a container so why cant lysol do the same? (tying to cut back on production cost?) I have lost a lot of money because every time i use them they end up falling off in the toilet bowl. : (

Not up to your standards!
I have used these for a couple of years. Over the past year, I have seen the quality of the product steadily go downhill. The lavender scented hangers are a total waste of time and money. I will think twice about buying your product again as I am not satisfied with the cleaning results.

Doesn't clean and last longer than grandma's fruitcake
There are so many things wrong with this product, I don't know where to begin.1) it doesn't clean but seems to last forever - i have it properly installed and the water from each flush showers the entire cleaner solid soapy looking thing. I can smell the fragrance but the ring build up from hard water shows up as quickly as without this product2) it lasts so ridiculously long - i usually complain about toilet hanging cleaner doesn't last long enough but this thing seems to last forever - 4 months later more than 1/3 of it it's still there! Why is this an issue? Well, I don't think it dissolves faster enough, so there isn't enough cleaner get mixed in with the water. I've adjusted this thing and moved it to the highest flow area of the toilet and it barely makes a differenceI do not have an issue with the it falling into the toilet. I am surprised that this is an issue for so many. If your toilet seat is down (I am the good BF type :) ), even if the plastic hook of this thing breaks, the toilet seat will prevent it from falling into the toilet. That said, this could be an issue for people that leave the toilet seat up because it's easy to get the thing "unhooked" from the toilet rim.All in all, this product is probably the worst Lysol product and doesn't seem to clean the toilet - best skip this and go for a traditional bleach-based drop-in tablet type of product, or the stab a gooey blob into the toilet type of product.

TERRIBLE! TOILET IS NOW CLOGGED.
Initially I liked the idea of an automatic cleaner and it smelled great in my bathroom! (It didnt actually make the toilet any cleaner than usual) About two weeks later I had guests over who used the bathroom and I am guessing someone who may have used my bathroom accidently pushed the clip into my toliet since I noticed it went missing after they had informed me that my toliet was clogged. I have tried to retrive it with no luck. It's been two weeks since i've had a full functioning toliet.. time to call the plumber.
A better clip system would greatly improve the product.

These tabs aren't really "cleaners". They just sort of rinse the bowl. The Lavender scent only lasts less than half the time of the blue....don't waste your money.

Well first of i want to say that this product wasn't as great as i expected to be. The lavender scent just lasted for 3 days after that it just didnt have any scent at all. Little pieces from the tablet would always fall out when flushed. It really didn't do any effect on my toliet bowl. I was expecting a bettet product, not the best.

I read some of the reviews and agree that it needs a new design for the clip but the other comments I do not agree with. I can only comment on the ocean breeze scent which is great and it does lessen over time but I feel your product lasts so long that something like that is bound to happen. I disagree with the people who said it did not clean because with repeated use it got rid of a nasty stain that even scrubbing did not do. Please do not discontinue this product just tweak it so the clip is better and maybe it should not last so long.

The product does pretty well keeping the bowl fresh. I would not consider it a "cleaner". I am very confused how to install it properly. The clip is terribly designed. For the product to be in an are where water flows, the clip sticks way out and can scratch the leg of someone sitting on it.

CLOGS TOILET! Worst product ever.
We bought this to help keep the bowls clean longer. However, the clear clip that you hang onto the side of the bowl broke and fell into the bowl! You couldn't even see it in there. Upon flushing it flushes and got stuck. Now, if anything other than liquid is flushed, it gets caught on the clip and clogs the toilet.
This is an inexpensive, poorly designed plastic clip that can cost you a small fortune to get fixed. I was completely surprised Lysol would sell such a poorly designed product.
In addition, during the use of the product, big chunks would break off and cling to the side of the bowl creating a slime river leading to the bowl. Very very disappointed with the clip design, subsequent issues, and the performance of the product itself. Will not buy again.

Toilet clogged by plastic clip
The plastic clip broke off and got flushed down the toilet. The toilet is now clogged and even when we use a plunger, it still does not work properly. Please reply. The product worked well before this happened.

I have been using Toilet Bowl Cleaners for over 30 years and this one worked! I followed the instructions and the difference is clear water in the Bowl, no toilet rim from the water level and the toilet smells fresh. I have five toilets in the house and I used them on each unit with the same positive result. I do not know how it works but it works.

I purchased the item based on the reputation of Lysol. Big mistake waste of time and money. It does nothing it claims. There is no fresh smell or anything l. I had to take another look at the pkg to see if it was unscented. It has been hanging in the toilet for 3 weeks or more and it just looks bad. Never again, just want my money back so I can try another brand.

Like the scent, but it definitely needs a new design
I like the smell of these. And they do an ok job of keeping the toilet clean. But, like many of the others on here I've had the clip break and clog the toilet. So I can't say I'd recommend this product.

Flimsy Clip and The Whole Thing Flushed
The clip is not tight! Its flimsy and the whole thing flushed today!! I was worried about what will happen and it looks like other peoples toilets clogged!! Yikes!! I just bought these at Costco and am throwing away afetr using just this one so it doesn't happen to my other toilet bowls. This may be very expensive!! Very upset as we live on tight budget.

Smells great, clogs toilets.
I like the fragrance of the product quite a bit and had used it for about four months when one of the clips went down the drain (with the toilet bowl cleaner still attached to it) and has now caused my toilet to become clogged. I purchased a snake from my local hardware store but was unsuccessful at either retrieving the clip or pushing it through evidently, because the toilet still flushes quite slowly. The clip is definitely in need of a redesign. I guess that I am grateful that the same model had not yet caused a clog in my second bathroom, but I'm removing it as a precaution.

Horrible! The plastic oiece sticks outside of the toilet so far. The packaging claims it lasts 8 weeks, which was great. I wanted to use this in between cleanings with the gel and scrub brush. Thats a lie-it lasts so much longer....BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORK! Both have been in my toilets for over a month and are still thr same size since putting them in there initially! Its not doing anything what so ever!

Terrible Design and Disgusting
Only time it's up against the bowl to receive water from flush is when the seat is up. It really gets nasty looking after a few days (I thought the flushing would wash it off but it doesn't). The clip really doesn't fit the bowl either. I'm throwing the other 7 out and will not but again.

Got flushed down and clogged our toilet!
We bought a big package of this at our local Costco, after a couple of days after being attached to our toilet , it got flushed down and clogged our toilet! We have tried several ways of trying to unclog the toilet but no luck, I guess we will have to hire a plumber to resolve the problem. In conclusion, it caused more harm than good. I don't recommend this at all.

Lysol no mess solid toilet bowl cleaner
I have been trying to find the lime scent with bleach. I think they work great for eliminating the black mold that would come from not flushing every time. Before you say "eeeww", I live in Calif. where we are in the fourth year of a drought, so don't flush each time in order to save water. Have no small children so no problem with them getting flushed down and clogging the toilet. Also, you have to be sure the cleaner is positioned where the incoming water will hit it. It is not very noticable inside the bowl or outside because the clip is clear in color. Hope you keep making them, especially in the lime with bleach.

Good in theory. Terrible in practice
I write this as I wait for the plumber to call with an estimate for the cost and window for the visit to fish out the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner. I've had it for LESS than a week and having purchased a package of these from Costco have no idea what to with the rest that I'm now afraid to use. i have only one bathroom so this is a bit of disaster and not how I wanted to spend my Sunday or my money.

Bad Design and fit in the toilet bowl, does not dip in the

I will never buy one of these again it will cost your more in the end because you have to call a plumber to get the part out your toilet. One of these came off during a flush and clogged my toilet could not reach the part. Stay away

I bought a two-pack of these, hoping that they'd live up to the idea of no more toilet brushes. Not really the case. Nice smell (I bought the lime version), but within a few weeks, the bowl definitely has stains and needs a real scrub. I doubt I'll purchase again.

My biggest mistake was buying this brought from BJ's wholesale club. It's the largest box you can get, and it being the first time I tried, mistake! I have 3 toilets and I noticed no difference in all 3 toilets. I was very disappointed. It gave off a slight scent for the first couple days and that was it. I was excited to try these seeing I have a large family but was very disappointed, won't buy again and or recommend to friends and family. Waste of money!!!

I bought this product Friday June 5th, I initially cleaned the toilet first because it was loaded with lime deposits. I went in to my bathroom this morning June 9th and it was gone. I asked other in my household what happened to it and was told it was paper thin and then broke off and went down the toilet. It only lasted 4days and my toilet was able to get filthy in those 4days. Only thing this is good for is making the bathroom smell good!

I saw these in walmart for $.97. Figured it wouldn't hurt to try. The thing smelled great for two days then it dissolved to nothing. It was suppose to last up to 8weeks, not just two days. It was ok for the money and i was pleased for the two days it lasted, just wish it would have lasted a bit longer. It did seem to keep the bowl cleaner but its hard to tell in such a short period. I doubt ill purchase these again.

My family and I purchased a package of these from Costco, we have been very happy with it until this morning. My daughter said that the toilet was clogged and she didn't see a reason, I went in to take a look and noticed that the bowl cleaner was missing, it has clogged my toilet and I don't have the money to get a plumber out to my house. Does anyone have any suggestions that my help me remove it, without having to spend the extra cash to have a plumber out? Help!!!

Same thing happened to us, device was on for a few days, suddenly gone and toilet is plugged and not usable. Home Depot recommends taking toilet completely off to get it out and replacing the seal. Oh, yea . . . Exactly what we want to have to deal with. I wonder will they pay for the fixes that are necessary??? I am quite disappointed in this Lysol product. It seems like there are several problems with this product and yet it is still available to purchase. This experience certainly leaves me with a bad feeling toward Lysol brand.

I purchased the mega pack at Costco. I thought that, since it goes in the bowl and not the tank, it would be better for the "works" of the toilet. They smell terrible. I perceive no benefit from using the product, other than one lasts nearly forever, and in this case, that's not really a benefit .I'm surprised at my experience, because I have used Lysol in lots of forms. My favorite is the wipes.

I logged onto this site to look for some disinfecting products. I recently purchased the no mess toilet bowl cleaners. The scent is great (blue ones) for a week or so. The disk itself gets gummy and starts chunking off and clinging to my toilet bowl side. However, based on reading these reviews....I removed them as I can not take the risk of them going down the toilet causing a clog. I wasted my $$. ;(

No Mess Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner
lysol needs to build these with hooks or an enclosure to keep the item in place, once in a while a new one disappears after a week, after a few weeks they simply just fall off, i've never gotten 8 weeks, maybe 4 weeks at the most. i dont know how they're attached, but some prongs that go through the scent block would help tremendously to keep it on longer, or like an enclosure of some kind, nothing big, maybe a cradle, please do something, i really like it, just doesn't last 8 weeks.

I bought it at Costco. Installed as instructed, and it does not seem to reach the water when flushed. Do not see the benefit. I am also concerned about the other reviews mentioning that it will clog my toilet. Will have to return, if possible.

Fragrance is overwhelming (awful) in the bathroom
Just looking to keep my toilet bowl clean, not cover up bathroom odors. The smell is so overwhelming and nauseating in my bathrooms - both purple and blue colors. Might try the bleach scent if I could find it in the stores. I try to clean my bathroom and not to cover-up odors with perfumie junk. Note that ours last a long time, the fragrance never goes away, but unsure how much cleaner the toilet stays.

I have to agree the Lysol Spring Waterfall scent is one of the worst I've ever experienced--is there any available product to offset this awful stench? I unfortunately bought a large package of these in-bowl "toilet fresheners" at Costco, and probably will end up throwing the remainder away. Not only does it smell just awful, but it does not keep either of the two bowls I've used them in clean. Previously, I've been very happy with the Clorox In-tank product--which was not available at Costco when I was shopping, resulting in my purchase of the Lysol product. The Clorox product smelled fine--like bleach-- exactly what I most wanted. I can't imagine why Lysol would introduce a product which smelled bad (and does not work). I definitely will not reccommend it.

I cleaned the toilet first, then attached this device, hoping that it would maintain the clean toilet. within a few days, the ring reappeared around the bowl at the waterline. Wasted money and as this is in our office facility, it's pretty sad. It wasn't even an office expense, it was something I did on my own.now I'm going to remove it, after reading the other reviews that it can clog the toilet when it falls off the clip. (no stars, it doesn't get a rating!!)

Please do not use this product. After just a few days the block is gone and now I have a big plumbing headache. I am now injured and cannot repair this by myself and I will have to hire a plumber. Not something I can afford right now. This isn't worth the hassle and additional cost that you will go through.

I like this product... BUT I am having a difficult time finding a scent that contains bleach and not floral perfume. I attach the clip after my toilets have been scrubbed and the toilets smell clean if the scent includes bleach. The floral fragrances are masking and gross. If your toilet is clean and you add a bleach contained clip, your cleaning efforts will last much longer and not be masked by perfume... so gross. Please bring back the lime with bleach or citrus and bleach... just not florals in my toilet. My toilets are clean and I do not need potpouri.

Lysol No mess toilet bowl cleaner, a disappointment...
Not having a tank with the toilet bowl, it is not easy to find this type of cleaner for the bowl.The reputed Lysol brand made buy this new one (Ocean). However, after a few days, nothing happened, no cleaning with every flush...! Then it started to break up in place.I threw it away, including the unopened one in package.

A lot of people are saying that this product will fall and clog toilets. I used two packages of clip-ons and never had a problem with that. BUT I wouldn't buy this product again. The tablets smell nice at first, but they quickly become odorless. Also, I never saw any significant benefit from using the product. My toilet still developed a ring, and I never noticed that the toilet was cleaner because of the product, even though the tablets were obviously wearing away over time. Seems like a waste of money, unfortunately.

Loving this product! I have a family of 8 in my household and maintaing a clean and fresh toilet is very important and having the No Mess Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner has been keeping my toilets smelling Fresh for 8 weeks now and actually significantly cut down my cleaning time! My toilets dosen't have the usual stubborn stains anymore. On the 8th Week mark I noticed that's when I needed replace the toilet bowl cleaner hanger so it has lasted for a good amount of time. Again I Love this product could not ask for more!

Unfortunately mine just got flushed and clogged the toilet as well. Was working fine to that point, not planning on using the remaining.

After only two & 1/2 days of use, I had to remove this STRONGLY SCENTED & OVERPOWERING product from my bathroom toilet bowl. Even with the bathroom door closed with the fan on all day long and the toilet bowl lid always down, this powerful odor permeates my 600 sq. ft. apartment. The strong scent/smell remains in my sinuses for some time after using the bathroom, as well as the vapor from the toilet tablet affecting my eyes. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for me using this product, which could be perfect for use in public toilets. I wouldn't recommend to anyone for home use.

Got the lavender scented one 2 days ago! Scent is great! No too over powering my bathroom feels very fresh very pleasant- I don't know about the ocean scent or citrus but they got it right with this lavender one - purchased mine at neighborhood Walmart- may be it's brand new cuz didn't see the citrus one there. Anyways great aroma and seems to be working great - will post an update once get towards the end I hope it doesn't clog or something that would be bad !! I don't normally bother writing reviews but this is one great product so wanted to say great job especially on the lavender fragrance!

Blocked up Toilet (Twice)
We decided to try this product and love the scent, smells fresh and clean. After a couple of months we noticed the toilet was slow to flush and then totally clogged up. We realized the cleaning tab was missing and figured it had fallen in. My husband took up the commode and sure enough it had flushed and lodged at the base of the commode. No problem, we liked the smell and it was keeping the toilet clean. Then 2 months later it happened again. To say the least it did not make our day, but we had put a lifetime ring in at the base, not the wax ring and it went a little faster. We have brought a 6 month supply and will continue to use the product, we just check to make sure it is attached before flushing. However, we will remove when we have visitors and grandchildren, and replace when they are gone. We wanted to buy more, but noticed the last trip to Costco they were out . Please advise if this is a temporary situation.

Like watching money dissolve before your eyes.
These things don't last more than a few flushes and that is with just two people in our home.

I really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this product. It's surprising to me that it is still on the market with all of the negative feedback that it has received. Our toilet has been clogged since this morning and I couldn't figure out the problem until I noticed that our clip-on was also missing. We do have small children, so I am assuming that one of them was somehow involved, although I don't think I'll ever find out exactly how it came to be stuck in the toilet. Dissappointed in the outcome of using this product, I would not recommend it.

Clogged Entire Toilet; Costly to Fix
Woke up to find that our toilet would not flush and soon after realized that this product was missing from the toilet and got flushed down. I would not recommend to anyone. It's an awesome product to begin with but horrible technology, the entire contraption should be water soluble. I hate to think that so many people are also going to have the same issue.

My Lysol No Mess Toilet Bowl cleaner "puck"fell off its plastic holder and is now lodged in my toilet. I cannot even plunge it out, its totally stuck!

It doesn't stay on the clip
I love the ocean scent and I love the product... I'd love it more if the cleaner would stay on the holder and not fall into the toilet bowl. You seem to have a major problem with this aspect and I suggest you go back to the drawing board and FIX it. They are expensive and after several flushes for it to disappear down the drain is something I don't wish to continue. I've yet to have ONE fully dissolve because of flushing.....So, are you going to send me the $20 that went down the toilet?

I like this product. It does not last 4 weeks at least not for me and I am a single user
I would purchase again when I find another discounted price. Paid $2.99 most places want more.
