Smudge-and-Hassle Free Printing
I wanted all our files to be organized so I got this Avery label stickers. What made me decide to buy it is because you can find the template online! You don't need other softwares or have a trial-and-error type of printing. Just search for the specific template of the product that you bought [which you can find on Avery.com], type the label names and voila! You're ready to print! It definitely saves time! Plus the type of paper isn't so glossy, so the ink easily dries up.. No need to worry about smudges.

Once I have done a general rework on inherited files utilizing removable Avery labels and I am ready to permanently store my file I switch to White Filing Labels which are archical save and acid free. The stay and stick feature is the best as they don't come off in the coming years and the ink jet gives me a clean look,

I have found that when your boss or anyone for that matter decides to organize their files at the last minute that they have been keeping its easy to make one quick sheet of labels or when I have to label and file an entire project using many sheets with the templates I can type and make as many or as few as I need to complete the job quickly and easily.

the file labels have saved a lot of time and energy when updating information on genealogy folders, I can put the new information on the family or person and stick it over old info and it is so clear and readable it helps make the job so easy. Also helps keep all files in order, with the computer printing them out you do not have to decipher what you wrote when you were in a hurry to get folder filled out and it made sence but later you are not sure of what you wrote.

I AM USING THESE LABELS AT HOME AS WELL AS WORK. THEY CREATE A VERY PROFESSIONAL LOOK TO MY FILES AND ARE SO EASY TO FORMAT AND USE.

Great product for organizing paperwork
At first I wasn't sure whether the dimensions would work well with the Paper-Docs file Organizer, but the product was perfect and I have been able to get much better organized. The number of labels in the package was ideal for my needs. It would, however, be nice to see this quantity in a removable label product.

I've been using Avery products forever and have never been disappointed with any of their products. There's nothing fancy and complicated about these labels; but for what I use them for, fancy or complicated is not required. Simple to use and easy to peel - it seals the deal for me!!

I used this product when I was setting up my office and getting ready for assistants. I am a horrible writer (most people say it looks like a doctor wrote it) so I had to redo every file so that it would at least look okay for others. It looked better than what I thought it would.

In today's economy, I am always looking for ways to economize and cut expenses. Re-using file folders is one way to do this, but until I discovered labels with "TrueBlock Technology" I wasn't always happy with the way they looked. "TrueBlock" means what it says--it completely covers the previous labels. I also like the fact that I can easily print one label or a whole sheet of labels using a label template, so there is no waste.

Although it may seem a very small item, printing file lables for daily file folders (1 January 2010, etc) the use of Avery labels with the template has been really helpful. I have been using the same files each year, just using a mass update to change the year as they passed by. I print out a set for the year for a lady I work with. In January I present her with a years of daily labels. I takes so little time and seems to impress my co-worker.

My daughter and I bought these not just to use on file folders, we also used them to label games we made up for her baby shower. These were the perfect size for what we needed, and were also terrific for the folders we have in the file cabinet. Much nicer and neater than doing it with handwriting let me tell ya!

Avery labels are a classic office item that will never go out of style. Whether you choose to write on your labels or use the printer for your labels, you can't go wrong. My favorite part is that even if you don't print a full sheet of labels and have to use some later, the paper still pulls through your laser printer just like it was the first time. Highly recommend!!

These labels make it so easy to cut down on how many manila folders I have to utilize each month. By using them I satisfy my need to be green because I get to re-use folders where projects have been completed and where the contents of the folder are no longer needed. This also has reduced the amount of money we need to spend each month on new boxes of manila folders. A very good investment for anyone regardless of if you need it for personal or business use.

Everything about this ...
Everything about this product is great if you are going to use up all the labels on the sheet at once. It seems the paper can only withstand being sent through the printer a couple of times before it gets flimsy and needs to be thrown away.

I don't like to see hand written labels! With the White File Folder Labels, I can clearly and boldly type in what's needed for my files. It makes finding a folder much easier. Like other Avery products, the best part is the ease of use. I store the template in my computer file and type in what I need. Makes filing a pleasure!

More than just a folder label
Like many people over "a certain age," I am frequently at the doctor's office. Every visit requires at least one form be filled out and often I am required to list my prescriptions. I have eliminated the need to memorize the spelling of my meds by typing them onto file folder labels. I list them all on one label and copy to the entire column of labels. Then at the doctor's office I can just stick the label onto the form and I'm done. it's wonderful!

We use this product often on our training and weapons files. We love the ease in using the product. We love that the labels stay put; the adhesive doesn't dry up and then the labels fall off. If you have files that you want labels to stay on permanently, I would highly recommend these labels.

New Use for True Block Labels
On very short notice, I recently had a very small area that needed to be corrected and did not have time to redo the job; I took one of the True Block Labels and cut it to fit the area that needed to be corrected then I was able to make my correction and it was hardly noticable! I had tried correction tape and it was sticky and didn't allow me to make the correction without it being noticable and I didn't even want to think about correction fluid cuz it would be lumpy and again, I wouldn't be able to make the correction without it being noticable! I thought this was a New Use for the True Block Labels!

I have been an Administrative Assitant with the same company for 10 years. I have used the same labels for my file folders since the beginning. After going back to review files from 10 years ago the labels are still securely in place. I will continue to use the Avery labes in the future.

UGA growing academic programs
Our academic program is growing is leaps and bounds the past couple of years. These labels (5366) accommodate our many files that need to be created and stored. Also, I like the quality and durability of the labels. A plus and what I love is that it is a snap to download templates for Avery. Thank you!

I use files labels all the time and when I use the MS Word template I seem to have issues with lining up the text correctly. I finally downloaded the AVERY Template and have it saved. I get perfect labels every time!! If I use one label or the whole page I never have to re-do them!! Awesome in my book!!!

Working in an office, you occasionally need to reuse a file. These are specifically made for that! Yes, they are easy to use (like all of Avery's labels and templates), but it is that added coverage that really makes these labels stand out. No matter what's written underneath, these labels cover it. It's like nothing was ever there. Perfect!

Blocks great, but doesn't stick
These labels are great at blocking any information underneath them, but they have a serious adhesive issue. Within 5 minutes of sticking them on a folder, the ends start to peel up. I now have to use a glue stick to glue the labels down. I find this to be unacceptable considering the money we pay to buy Avery products vs. the generic store brand. I expect better.

Great Labels for my workplace!
Just wanted to say that I love using these 8366 labels. I use them to do my Time Cards as well as filing away paperwork for customers and the office staff. These labels give me the ability to file paperwork more efficiently and more neatly. The way the ink looks coming off the printer is also well done! Never any smudging. Thank you

Although I normally use and love Avery products, I have found that the last two boxes of TrueBlock Technology file folder labels (#5366) have performed poorly. The labels don't stick well and this is on new (never used) manila file folders. To have to constantly reapply or reinforce placment of label indicates a major issue. Never had an issue before and don't know whether it is a new formula or something else. Very unhappy with the performance. Not the usual for an Avery product.

I'm not the most orginized person in the world, but since I started using the 5366 file folder lables it got me in the mode to organize better and find items I would never been able to find before. I use them at home and work. The are the best!

I use these file folder labels in the office all the time! They are so easy to use you just type in the product number in Microsoft Word under labels and the template comes up so you can put the information you need onto the label and print them out. They keep my office organized and looking neat! Great for people (like me) who have messy handwriting and want there files to look more professional so if someone else is looking for someone they can read what the file name is! I would most definitely recommend this product! Thank you Avery!

Permanent File Folder Labels

I purchased these file folder labels to help me organize my file folders. The Avery Template for this product was easy to use and configure. I use the Avery Template Software with Office 2007. All I had to do was load the template and start typing. The labels peel easily and block the pervious writing on the folders. Great product and great software.

I love these labels and used them to create "mailbox folders" for our staff to easily have a process in place to get communication from director, HR, any other department in hospital. I also used them to make customized labels to attach to magnet tape for communication to staff regarding patient isolation status, equipment storage and floor maintenance information.

I will never buy these labels again
I am beyond frustrated with these labels. We are now using scotch tape to keep them in place because they are not sticking to the manila folders from the moment we apply them! We are systematically going through all of our old files to put tape on them. A complete waste of time! Very disappointing!

Avery True Block # 8163 2" x 4". does not feed
The Avery # 8163 2 x 4 True Block does not feed properly. I use a lot of this size label and always liked the repositionable labels. I cannot find them at Office Depot where I shop. The True Block labels NEVER feed properly and I feel I am wasting my money. However I do need good labels as it is a requirement for our product.

I am the only one in the office out of 3 co-workers that these labels don't stick well. They are always peeling up and I glue the backside to keep it down and that still doesn't work. I had to replace them all with 5161 that never give me a problem. I tried a new batch of the 5366 labels and so far it looks like it will be more permanent. But why did it work for the others in my office. I tried using the same copier/printer instead of the one I use, and it still did not work.

There is something defective with the box of labels I got (model 5366, 50 sheets) The labels peel off the backing in three pieces and are virtually useless. It is like they were scored for a different product. Can I get a new box?

purchased 1500 Avery #8366 labels with TrueBlock for my genealogy files. Attached them to new file folders two days ago. Just opened the file drawer and all the labels are peeling off the folders. This could be a disaster!
