Plastic and no refills

My daughter got this as a gift and frankly, I hate them. The leads break, the colors are not bright and the amount of waste that these things produce is outrageous. Crayola says proudly how they are Eco by recycling and making their products in a "more environmentally responsible way". But this product is the complete opposite. Once the lead breaks or is used up to its 90%, the whole container is waste!

twistables are awesome

I have had my twistables for many years and over all they still work well. great for drawing.
